President Biden’s Path To Greatness

November 1, 2022 Featured Today Comments Off on President Biden’s Path To Greatness

By PETER MAURICE Readers who have no taste for fantasy may get no further than my title. Coupling of “greatness” and “Biden” will seem flippant — perhaps even giddy, after his garish “soul of the nation” speech at Independence Hall. I beg indulgence for a few paragraphs wherein I hope to justify this strange linkage, this improbable possibility. As our election season once again reminds us, mediocrities are capable of vaulting ambitions. In American politics they often realize them while remaining, aside from the push of the self-marketer, creatures of middling qualities. Adulation and flattery feed an average Joe’s pretensions to greatness, while contempt and rejection have been known to bring about a more honest self-assessment.Of late, every time Biden is…Continue Reading

Fauci Can’t Whitewash His Disastrous Legacy

October 31, 2022 Featured Today Comments Off on Fauci Can’t Whitewash His Disastrous Legacy

By DAVID HARSANYI This past week, ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl asked Dr. Anthony Fauci, the soon-departing head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, if it was a “mistake” for schools to be shuttered as long as they were during the COVID pandemic. “We should realize, and have realized,” Fauci answered, “that there will be deleterious collateral consequences when you do something like that,” adding that he had “nothing to do” with schools closing. This is a transparent legacy-saving revisionism.Fauci now portrays himself as a humble public health official who had merely shared scientific advice and information with decision-makers. This self-serving depiction conveniently ignores his fearmongering, his coaxing and lying to manipulate behavior and his partisan scheming. Governors…Continue Reading

Biden Pushing Abortion

By BARBARA SIMPSON We are just weeks away from the primary election and judging by the headlines out of Washington, Democrats are starting to run scared that they may not get the win they need for control of Congress.Politicians from almost every state are being interviewed and are speaking out for their point of view. Many, if not most, are taking aim at Donald Trump, who — at this point — hasn’t even declared a candidacy. He says he is thinking about it!The man who is taking the most heat for his political positions is the president, Joe Biden. That, in itself, isn’t surprising. The “President,” at any given time and of any given party, is always the main target…Continue Reading

Biden’s Destroying The Economy: Is It Intentional?

October 29, 2022 Featured Today Comments Off on Biden’s Destroying The Economy: Is It Intentional?

By STEPHEN MOORE Everywhere I go, people are mystified about President Joe Biden’s economic agenda. So few of the policies comport with basic common sense that I’m asked the same question over and over: Is Biden intentionally trying to take a wrecking ball to the economy? Is this all part of some diabolical plan, the “great reset,” to end our system of free market capitalism and replace it with some form of big government socialism?Biden keeps saying that he wants to be a historic president who will “transition” the country into a new worker’s paradise where no one uses fossil fuels or electricity or cars and equality is paramount, ahead of growth and prosperity. Is he taking us there with no…Continue Reading

It’s Not “Ableist” To Wonder If Fetterman Can Do His Job

October 25, 2022 Featured Today Comments Off on It’s Not “Ableist” To Wonder If Fetterman Can Do His Job

By DAVID HARSANHI NBC News’ Dasha Burns recently aired the first in-person interview with Pennsylvania senatorial candidate John Fetterman since his stroke. The candidate needed a closed-captioned monitor to answer questions because of “auditory processing” struggles caused by his recent stroke. “In small talk before my interview,” Burns added, “it wasn’t clear he understood what I was saying.”Oh, boy. Democrats swarmed, attacking Burns for stating the obvious: Fetterman isn’t OK. It’s remarkable to watch how quickly partisans can coalesce around a new talking point. For months, the national media have been telling us Fetterman’s campaign was completely “normal,” even as video emerges of the candidate struggling to cobble two coherent sentences in succession. In September, Fetterman said that the “only…Continue Reading
