This is a wonderful day for humanity because we see the promises of our Lord being fulfilled in a human person. While it is true to say that in Jesus our humanity has been taken into Heaven, Jesus is a divine Person not a human person, so it makes sense that He is in Heaven, but we might still doubt whether or not His promises will be fulfilled in us. He goes on to mention sins that grieve the Holy Spirit: bitterness, fury, anger, shouting, reviling, and malice. Instead, he says, we are to be kind, compassionate, and forgiving. By doing these things, St. Paul says, we are imitating God because this is the way He loves us and has forgiven us.According to St. Paul, we are to imitate God as His beloved children. CUSICK As one of the two parishes in the Archdiocese of Washington that offer the Traditional Latin Mass daily, my majority-traditional church family is now in a quite vulnerable condition after the publication of the motu proprio Traditionis custodes (TC).Following the 2007 publication of Summorum Pontificum I was sent in 2010 as pastor to St. Francis de Sales in Benedict, Md. Considering that the people to whom he was writing were Gentile converts, it makes sense that he would need to instruct them to live as Christian people and not as pagans.
