After Congressional Probe’s Findings . . . How Trump Can Lend Powerful Hand Against Abortion-Trafficking Scandal

President-elect Donald Trump has a powerful weapon at hand that dominant media deeply fear.
Even when these media gleefully hammered him every day with raw attacks during the 2016 campaign, they failed to prevent his presidential victory. What if Trump takes them on in territory where they fear to go? What if he shoves facts about merciless permissive abortion into their cringing faces? It’d be another Trump triumph over a dishonest media that would give him a significant boost as he prepares to battle hostile reporters and editors for at least four years. Maybe something he could incorporate into his inaugural address on January 20?
Consider this double standard where dominant media have rendered themselves defenseless. If only someone like Trump would challenge them to wrestle here, they’d collapse like a wet sack.
“Russia shocked by video of bear being crushed to death,” said the headline over a story by the Agence France-Presse news service posted December 27 at the prominent British left-wing news site The Guardian.
The story noted that bears that fail to go into hibernation could be dangerous and can be shot with approval from authorities.
It reported the video showing workers in off-road vehicles in Russia’s Siberian Arctic driving back and forth over a brown bear in the snow, attempting to kill it.
Investigators said they were examining the incident to see if it constituted an animal-cruelty criminal offense, Agence France-Press said. A government official was quoted that the men were “scoundrels” and their act a “carnage.”
The bear was neither cuddly nor beguiling.
The story also said that in 2015, a different video “sparked widespread indignation,” showing a construction worker in the Arctic feeding a firecracker to a polar bear, “which roared with pain after it exploded in its mouth.”
Shortly before Christmas Eve, AzCentral, the website of the Arizona Republic, the Grand Canyon State’s largest daily paper, posted a story on December 22 headlined, “Maricopa County shelter spays pregnant dogs, destroys 25 full-term pups as part of overcrowding policy.”
The story said that county officials — Phoenix is the county seat — confirmed the pups “were not removed from the birth sac and were killed from doses of anesthesia given to the mother before they could take a breath.”
In other words, it was considered newsworthy that the pit-bull puppies were aborted.
The policy of “terminating unborn pups” when spaying pregnant dogs was reinstated after it “had been suspended more than a year ago because of public outrage over the practice,” the story said.
AzCentral said shelter volunteers accused officials of deliberately hiding the condition of pregnant dogs from the public by using “abstract terms such as ‘distended abdomen’.” The animal-control director said staff treated the 25 pups “as they would any other matter taken from the inside of a dog during surgery,” the story said.
A sub-headline said, “Deaths spark social-media outrage.”
The Arizona Republic is pro-abortion, at least regarding human “pups,” and doesn’t protest when these little humans routinely are thrown away from their mothers’ wombs, not two dozen of them but tens of millions.
It may seem inexplicable, but dominant media have a soft spot for “animal rights” while being grimly insensitive to human unborn babies and reject helping their moms protect them.
However, these media also realize an inherent public sympathy for the human unborn. That’s probably a major reason the media organs go out of their way to suppress pro-life news and avidly attack foes of permissive abortion.
When the factual videos produced by David Daleiden and his California-based Center for Medical Progress (CMP) were released in 2015, pro-abortion media went into hysterics and lied their heads off.
The videos showed top Planned Parenthood officials dickering over profiting from selling aborted babies’ body parts.
Instead of the mere “tissue” that media pro-abortionists prefer to write about, organ traffickers were filling specific orders for everything imaginable, including the unborn babies’ heads, brains, eyes, hearts, kidneys, lungs, arms, legs, and skin. Sounds like an experimentation list for the old German National Socialists’ mad doctors.
Would self-blinded eyes finally be opened at the fanatically pro-abortion flagship New York Times, whose executive editor, Dean Baquet, went to Catholic school in New Orleans? Why should they be? Years of scientifically instructive ultrasounds of unborn babies at play hadn’t touched the consciences of Baquet and his callous crew, so why should this ghoulish scandal?
But dominant left-wing media — coincidentally, they’re these same pro-abortion propagandists — met their match in President-elect Trump. They raged against him throughout the presidential campaign and pounded him daily like a jackhammer. However, Trump still won with a commanding Electoral College majority.
Trump wouldn’t be cowed but successfully, defiantly rejected media propaganda. In his third presidential debate with Hillary Clinton in October, he even denounced Clinton’s support for late abortions and said it wasn’t okay with him to “rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby.”
His was a graphic attack against a pro-abortion extremist that various Republicans generally had seemed to fear to voice, even though they had the facts and the moral imperative.
In December, congressional investigators reported on what they found doing their own research after the body-parts trafficking scandal was revealed to the nation by CMP. Congressional members recommended pursuing criminal action.
The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee released a report of nearly 550 pages, Human Fetal-Tissue Research: Context and Controversy. The U.S. House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives made criminal referrals to prosecutors from California to Florida.
However, the conservative Townhall site posted an opinion column on December 20 headlined, “The Senate report on Planned Parenthood no one is talking about.” Saying “the media has again completely ignored a truly shocking story about abortion,” the column gave examples, such as this one about Advanced Bioscience Resources, Inc., obtaining a 20-week-old aborted baby from Planned Parenthood:
“ABR sold its brain to one customer for $325; both of its eyes for $325 each ($650 total) to a second customer, a portion of its liver for $325 to a third customer; its thymus . . . for $325 and another portion of liver to a fourth customer; and its lung for $325 to a fifth customer. These fees are merely the service fees for the specimens themselves; ABR separately charged each customer for shipping, disease, screening, cleaning and freezing, as applicable.
“So, from that single fetus for which ABR paid a mere $60, ABR charged its customers a total of $2,275 for tissue specimens, plus additional charges for shipping and disease screening,” the column said, explaining this was only one hour’s work for a busy technician.
Also: “ABR invoices show the same prices were charged for the parts of a 21-week-old Down Syndrome fetus, except that a buyer was found to pay $325 for a leg and an extra $325 for the baby’s skin. Yes, you read that correctly. In America, in 2016, you can buy the skin of a Down Syndrome fetus for the very reasonable price of just $325 (plus shipping).”
CMP issued a news release on December 13 saying: “The Senate Judiciary Committee sent a letter today to the FBI and the Department of Justice formally referring for criminal prosecution four of the biggest Planned Parenthood affiliates, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and three of their closest business partners in the harvesting and sale of aborted-baby body parts.
“The Senate Judiciary Committee’s report confirms that Planned Parenthood and companies like StemExpress partnered in a years-long criminal conspiracy to sell the body parts of aborted children for profit,” the release continued. “When Planned Parenthood national became aware that their affiliates were operating their baby body-part programs in violation of Planned Parenthood’s own guidelines, Planned Parenthood covered up for the affiliates and deleted the guidelines.
“The committee’s report shows Planned Parenthood and their baby body-parts business partners are totally unaccountable and must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and Planned Parenthood’s barbaric abortion empire must no longer be subsidized by taxpayer funds,” CMP said.
In a telephone interview with The Wanderer, a spokeswoman for a leading pro-life activist organization based in Washington, D.C., said pro-lifers want to make sure the Trump administration sees and understands the details of the congressional investigation, to help shed light on it more widely.
Mallory Quigley, communications director for the Susan B. Anthony List, said the congressional findings are “further vindication for David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress that this kind of harvesting and trafficking exists.”
“This is exactly” the kind of material that Sen. Jeff Sessions as Trump’s choice to be attorney general can take strong action on, Quigley said.
Trump “clearly was speaking from the heart during the third presidential debate” when he confronted Clinton over late abortions, she said.
“I don’t have any particular venue in mind” for where Trump could speak out on this issue, Quigley said, but it would be “incredible” to have it in a State of the Union address.
With Trump as the incoming president of the United States, she said, “That adds a level of gravitas to whatever he says.”
