The Left’s Manufactured Racism

December 4, 2016 Frontpage No Comments

By REY FLORES

Before we proceed any further with the topic in our headline, let’s explore some terms and definitions to make sure there is no confusion in our column.
Racism is a prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior. So racism is having intolerant beliefs based on our geographic, cultural, ethnic, language, and skin color differences; yes?
We, of course, all belong to the human race, so the “racism” we hear so much about should actually be known as “ethnicism,” given the different ethnicities which make up the human race, be it Africans, Arabs, Asians, Caucasians, and others.
Now a phobia is an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something. Therefore, if someone is labeled an Islamophobe or a xenophobe, that means that this person is being accused of having an “extreme” or “irrational” fear of Muslims and Islam altogether, while the xenophobe is just someone who fears or dislikes foreigners.
How about if someone either fears or hates Christians? Could such a person be called a “Christianophobe”?
Lately we have also heard the word “hate” being bandied about, especially by liberals against conservatives, particularly President-elect Donald Trump, or any of his many supporters.
Hate is best described as an intense or passionate dislike, which can be applied to anything, anyone, or a group of people, or any place or activity. If anyone is doing any of the hating, it’s the liberal left against the conservative right.
Having shared all this, I wanted to address a troubling announcement made the past week by the equally troubling Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), and a number of other radical organizations who I believe are effectively in the business of race-baiting. Among these numerous other groups are The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the National Council of La Raza, Muslim Advocates, and AFT-American Federation of Teachers.
This collaborative effort has called on President-elect Donald Trump to denounce racism and bigotry and reconsider key appointments. As many have pointed out, no one ever called Trump a racist until he decided to run for president against the Washington, D.C., elitist establishment of Democrats and Republicans.
Trump may be outspoken and at times eccentric, but racism is not one of his characteristics. There are several videos accessible through YouTube that show Trump receiving special recognition for his work in the African-American community. Most interesting is that Trump was being recognized by the divisive Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
In 1986 Donald Trump was awarded The Ellis Island Medal of Honor, which recognizes one’s “patriotism, tolerance, brotherhood, and diversity.” Most interesting is that he received it alongside boxing champ Muhammad Ali and civil rights legend Rosa Parks.
In regard to the Trump administration’s key appointments during the transition, none have raised any red flags to me that suggest they are racists or “anything-phobes” of any kind. I would say there is more diversity in the appointments Trump is making during his transition than Obama did when he was in the same position.
The SPLC report “Ten Days After” says: “Nearly 900 hate attacks were reported in the first 10 days after the election, ranging from violent white-supremacist punching attacks to sexual assault threats on women passersby to a vicious bullying campaign on a LGBT teen that forced her to drop out of school.”
The report continues: “California saw more than 10 percent of the 867 incidents in the days since Donald Trump was elected President, with 99 acts of hatred reported between November 9 and November 19. New York had the nation’s second highest total, with 69 reported attacks, followed by Texas, which had 57.”
I call this ridiculous report poppycock. Why would anyone feel all of a sudden emboldened by Donald Trump’s victory to commit any kind of hate crime?
This is all still part of the ongoing smear campaign by the establishment Washington, D.C., insiders, the sycophant “news” media who are nothing more than the unofficial ministry of propaganda for the Obama administration, and of course the Hillary Clinton campaign.
These above-mentioned entities are in utter disbelief at their recent loss, but they are not giving up that easily. They have long crossed the line and are now openly smearing Donald Trump, his reputation, and the reputations of his family and anyone who dares stand by him in the political realm.
This report offers claim after claim about Muslim women having their headscarves ripped off their heads, or school boys repeating Trump’s regrettable and offensive comments about women out of school bus windows.
If reports like these weren’t so extremely dangerous, this particular one would be almost comical.
This ludicrous document goes on to relate stories about anti-immigrant discrimination in which Hispanic kids are being told by “almost every kid in school” that they are going to be deported back to Mexico.
Then there are the “places of worship” being targeted with spray-painted swastikas, the name Trump spray-painted on church walls, not to mention the letters KKK as part of the vandalism. What are we in? The 1960s in Little Rock, Ark.?
Another item here tells us about a lesbian couple in North Canton, Ohio, who within hours of the election, had offensive homophobic slurs carved into their car doors and hood. Ohio is one of the most “gay-friendly” states in the country, but according to the SPLC, Ohio is a bastion of homophobia.
As a way to absolve themselves from completely ignoring the ongoing violence that has been inflicted on Trump supporters for the last four months or so, the SPLC closes their report by including 180 words in two paragraphs addressing “anti-Trump” hate.
The first paragraph starts off: “Of the 867 hate incidents collected by the SPLC, 23 were anti-Trump. In the days following the election, there were far fewer reports of anti-Trump harassment and intimidation than there were of the other types of harassment catalogued in this report; however, the small number of anti-Trump incidents may also reflect the fact that Trump supporters may have been unlikely to report incidents to the SPLC.”
Of course Trump supporters would never report anything to the SPLC. We don’t even speak the same language. The SPLC says it collected most of the 867 hate crime “reports” from their own #ReportHate page found on the SPLC’s website, and media accounts.
Do they mean the media who spent the last 12 months bashing Trump and anyone who supported him? Is that the same media whom WikiLeaks exposed by hacking emails showing that they were in collusion with the Hillary Clinton campaign to smear Donald Trump and paint him as a racist?
I am so embarrassed for the SPLC, for the fake “news” media, and for our country. We have entered an era of dishonesty in our nation that only God Himself can set right.
The Godless radical leftists are hell-bent on pointing the finger at everyone else but themselves, accusing us of intolerance, hatred, bigotry, xenophobia, Islamophobia, and of violence. But I think they are the guiltiest of all.
I will not stand idly by and let these adherents of the secular state besmirch me, any of my Christian brothers and sisters, and our great nation.
If this country is so full of hate as the leftists claim that it is, why don’t they all leave our “deplorable” nation once and for all?
We face the fake Astroturf manufactured racism of today because the left has nothing else of substance to offer. They are rats on a sinking ship and they will do anything and everything to undermine the Trump presidency and the majority of Americans’ resolve to truly make America great again.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it till the day I die: God bless America!

Two observances — Easter and the recently contrived “International Transgender Day of Visibility” — fall on Sunday, March 31 this year, causing some to wonder “Is Easter being replaced with the ‘Transgender Day of Visibility?’” It’s a valid question. Abortion Advocates No Longer Consider It “A Necessary Evil,” They Celebrate Killing Babies

Last week, Kamala Harris became the first vice president in U.S. history to make a public visit to an abortion clinic.
