With Obama Gone . . . Obama’s Medical Fist And Tax Funding For Immorality Still Haunt Voters

April 1, 2017 Frontpage No Comments

 By DEXTER DUGGAN

Are you more worried that 1) White House counselor Kellyanne Conway lightheartedly told television viewers in February to buy some of Ivanka Trump’s fashion products, after President Trump’s daughter’s merchandise was discriminated against by some department stores?
Or do you fret more that 2) the U.S. government under Barack Obama was sending taxpayer money overseas that’s still being spent to push hundreds of millions of people to reject their traditional morality and promote permissive abortion and sexual disorientation?
If you’re a regular person, the answer would be Number Two, if you knew, but odds are that’s never been a major item on the 45 minutes of highly selectively edited network news and features that you get during an hour of airtime dotted with commercials.
During that news time, however, you saw repeated stories about Conway’s alleged serious lack of ethics over shopping advice.
You were no more obligated to buy an Ivanka blouse than to eat chili with beans and ice cream if Conway suggested you do so.
Your political actions, though, are guided strongly by what you know about. And if you never knew, how would you decide? When your opinions disagree with dominantly left-wing media’s, don’t expect them to give you information and support for yours.
Meanwhile, conservatives still had headaches because, after seven years of the Republican Party swearing to repeal Obamacare, the political establishment said that if that act couldn’t be accomplished within 18 days in March 2017, it wouldn’t be done.
Hmmm, it took months for Barack Obama’s Democrat-majority Congress finally to approve Obamacare in early 2010, and only after the White House applied lies, threats, bribes, and thumbscrews.
And Ronald Reagan’s tax reforms took determined months of work, not 18 days, back in the 1980s.
But it seemed that the stand-pat bipartisan establishment majority in Washington that candidate Trump vowed to fight still had the upper hand when Obamacare repeal popped onto the legislative calendar in early March. Nor was disappointment over undone repeal the only major worry.
If, as the saying goes, “money is the mother’s milk of politics” — the basic nutrition of political activity — money also is the way to dry up motherhood and attack childbearing and traditional morality in these days of global abortion, anti-natalism, and gender bending.
Early in his administration, President Trump by executive order restored what is known as the “Mexico City Policy” by cutting off U.S. tax funding for international groups that provide or promote abortion — funding that had been activated as soon as Obama took over as president in 2009. But more remained to do.
In a front-page interview in the January 14, 2016, Wanderer, African-born pro-life activist and medical researcher Obianuju Ekeocha had criticized Obama’s overseas spending to attack morality.
Ekeocha told The Wanderer that “ever since January 2009, President Obama repealed the Mexico City Policy, and pro-abortion organizations have been so empowered to push, prod, and lobby African leaders to open their doors to legal abortion in various African countries. What is most painful and shameful is that all this is being done by American tax dollars. And we Africans don’t stand a chance in this money-driven strategy. . . .
“Since President Obama has been in office, Africa has experienced an undeniable erosion of our cultural and moral values,” she said more than a year ago.
“. . . Africa has been led through a path of destruction to a dangerous cultural precipice since the beginning of the Obama presidency, and I pray we don’t completely jump off by the end of this administration.”
An article in the March 20 Wall Street Journal noted Trump’s proposed 28 percent budget cuts for the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as the new president set out his priorities. Policy expert Mark Moyar said there’s “plenty of waste” in their activities.
Moyar said that during Obama’s years in the White House, USAID was prominent in promoting agendas of abortion, sexual radicalism, and “social justice” — “promoting agendas that were neither supported by large segments of the U.S. population nor of clear benefit to American national interests,” Moyar said.
“The agency often acted as if it were a private nonprofit organization with a liberal agenda, rather than a taxpayer-funded arm of the U.S. government,” he said.
USAID promoted “transgender rights in Central America,” Moyar said, and joined with the United Nations to “Purple My School” in eight Asian countries, which included attacking “homophobia” and creating “allies” and “safe spaces for LGBTI students” — lesbian, “gay,” bisexual, transgender, and intersex. Also, Moyar said, USAID even pointed Guatemala’s Election Tribunal toward rewriting materials and providing training to “promote transgender rights.”
Moyar is author of a 2016 book from Cambridge University Press, Aid for Elites: Building Partner Nations and Ending Poverty Through Human Capital.
Effectively smashing down women’s public restroom and shower doors in the U.S. so any sexually disoriented person could rush in was only a small part of Obama’s degenerate goals.
An article posted March 24 at the conservative American Spectator website noted official U.S. involvement along with globalist left-wing radical billionaire George Soros to meddle in Macedonia.
Soros’ agenda around the world to rot morality includes abortion everywhere and even trying to select U.S. sheriffs whom he views as better for his goals.
Under the headline “Macedonia to George Soros and USAID: Go away,” Victor Gaetan wrote at the Spectator: “Small but mighty Macedonia is the mouse that roared this year, declaring war on George Soros, 86, and his U.S. Government handmaidens, who, incredibly, have financed a left-wing agenda to divide the nation and bring a socialist-Muslim coalition to power.”
This kind of activity surely would be squelched if new Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s department “were running on all cylinders,” Gaetan wrote, but conservative Macedonian politicians have had trouble gaining attention from the Trump administration.
Gaetan added, “USAID they consider an utterly lost cause.”
Meddling in Macedonia, he wrote, “was the kind of Obama administration manipulation that was so routine that it passed unnoticed in 2012, when USAID/Skopje selected Soros’ Foundation Open Society Macedonia (FOSM) to manage $2.5 million in taxpayer dollars earmarked for oxymoronic ‘democracy building,’ an amount increased to $4.8 million two years later.”
He quoted one Macedonian politician, “We became a Soros target because we’re a conservative nation,” then went on to write that the Soros involvement “broadened to include Soros passions such as LGBT activism and ‘sex worker’ rights.”
The Spectator article quoted a Macedonian politician, “Ten years ago, USAID was a normal organization supporting schools and water-supply systems. Under Obama’s ideological programs, it became the super crack of the Left.”
And the conservative Daily Caller website posted on March 26:
“Just last August, USAID announced a nearly $9.5 million program that would last until 2021 and would be administered in partnership with FOSM, Metamorphosis, the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI), and the National Youth Council of Macedonia. Metamorphosis was launched in 1999 by the Open Society Foundations and has since become independent.”
Under the headline “U.S. interfered in Macedonia’s political process, documents show,” the Daily Caller noted that while claims are flying about alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election, “the American campaign in Macedonia is out there in the open.”
Indeed, Obama meddled around the world to twist nations to follow his disordered views, including openly trying to have voters oust Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel. Now gone from the White House, Obama has vowed to continue trying to push his agenda.
Dominantly left-wing media likely will keep swooning at his feet and his marching orders while retching with their repellent hatred and loathing of Trump.

Simple Wording

As for repealing Obamacare, conservative Cong. Mo Brooks (R., Ala.) showed that it could be worded simply in a bill he introduced as the Republican leadership’s complex American Health Care Act (AHCA) was pulled from the legislative calendar on March 24 for lack of sufficient support.
Brooks’ bill said: “Effective as of December 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted.”
National conservative talk-radio host Mark Levin reminded listeners of how boldly House Speaker Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) had spoken just over a year ago. In late March Levin repeatedly played an audio of Ryan saying 14 months earlier, in the last year of Obama’s presidency:
“We have now shown that there is a clear path to repealing Obamacare without 60 votes in the Senate. So, next year, if we’re sending this bill to a Republican president, it will get signed into law.”
However, after the secretly written bill, sometimes called Ryancare, was revealed on March 6, Ryan insisted that the bill had to be cautiously done because of the difficult 60-vote threshold in the Senate.
The AHCA was just deceptive “bait-and-switch” after seven years of GOP promises to repeal Obamacare, Arizona pundit Chris Buskirk charged on Phoenix-based KKNT Radio (960 AM) on March 23.
On March 27, talk host Levin expressed worry that after the AHCA failed, Trump said he wants to reach out to Democrats to go forward. Levin asked which Democrats was Trump talking about. The ones who say Russia helped him win the presidency? Who want to impeach him?
Reaching out to these Democrats would mean Trump is going to the left, Levin said — because there are no Democrats to his right.
Wondering just when the GOP is going to get its act together, Levin recalled that public outrage against the recently passed Obamacare gave Republicans the House majority in 2010, but congressmen proceeded to pick stand-patter John Boehner (R., Ohio) as their speaker (Boehner, who successfully pled with Ryan in 2015 to succeed him as speaker).
And when Republicans won the Senate majority in 2014 as a repudiation of Obama, Levin added, senators picked stand-patter Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) as their majority leader.

The House Freedom Caucus

Rob Haney, a strong Trump supporter and retired chairman of the Phoenix-based Maricopa County Republican Party, told The Wanderer in a March 28 email:
“The failure of the Obamacare repeal plan is reflective of how unresponsive Republican Party officialdom is to the desires of the conservative base, who make up the majority of the party’s voters. Whether in Congress or in the state legislatures, the ruling-class Republicans’ primary purpose seems to be to move left, but only at a lesser rate of speed than the Democrats.
“To achieve this aim, they have become masters of deceit, lies, and corruption,” Haney added. “Speaker Ryan tightly controlled the process, misled the Republican caucus on the best way to proceed, and presented a bill which had to be rejected by the representatives because they believed it was not what they had committed to their constituents.
“Trump got stuck with a ‘turkey’ of a bill, but he had to be supportive of Ryan in anticipation of future legislative initiatives. During the next few months, I believe it would be better if Trump asked the House Freedom Caucus to draw up a true repeal-and-replace bill as a starting point from which to drive a consensus,” he said.
“Until the swamp is drained — and to be effective, that must include term limits — I do not believe Congress is capable of reforming itself,” Haney said, putting all nine of the concluding words in italics for emphasis.
