Transgenderism And All That Jazz

“Jazz Jennings was born a boy, but started to show leanings toward a feminine side at only 15 months old. By age two, Jazz started to verbalize her feelings that ‘she was a girl,’ and by five she was one of the youngest people ever to be diagnosed with gender dysphoria — a persistent unease with the characteristics of one’s gender, accompanied by a strong identification with the opposite gender” (from Katie Couric, World 3.0 Yahoo News.
Letting some journalistic hack like Katie Couric encourage, embolden, and enable this kind of behavior in families does a great disservice not only to young people like Jazz Jennings, but also to the weak fathers and mothers who will give away the parental obligation and authority bestowed upon them by God Himself when they are blessed with children.
What “leanings toward a feminine side” can any 15-month-old baby express to convince any parent that that baby “identifies” with the opposite gender? I’ve heard my children at age two say things like “I’m a giraffe” or “Look at me, I’m a dinosaur!” Does that mean all of a sudden their mother and I were going to let them self-identify as giraffes and dinosaurs?
Recently, the floundering Time magazine named Jazz as one of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014. He was right up there with Obama’s daughters who were on the list for some mysterious reason — mysterious, because I can’t figure out just how influential Sasha and Malia Obama are to anyone outside of the high tuition and tony private school they attend, but I digress.
At 14 years old now, Jazz was further encouraged by his parents and the insane doctors who have been treating him with hormone-changing drugs to actually have a book published about his fabricated condition. The book is titled I Am Jazz. Yeah, and I’m the man on the moon!
The book is targeted to children and the twisted families who see this as perfectly normal and as acceptable behavior. Of course, on the Amazon website, the book gets a great review by a transgender actor who goes by the name of Laverne Cox, who is also celebrated by the mainstream and diabolical news media and entertainment industry.
Not to be left out of this kind of twisted type of thing is none other than media mogul Oprah Winfrey, who in 2011 produced a documentary for her Oprah Winfrey Network titled, “I Am Jazz: A Family in Transition.”
Some people don’t seem to know what it means to actually love a child, and not just use them as guinea pigs for social experiments. Others, especially those in the media, are simply brainwashed and Godless.
It sickens me to see just how children like Jazz — or whatever his original name was when his parents still treated him like a boy — are now nothing more than poster children for a very troubling agenda that seeks to break down morality in the family unit.
What kinds of parents and at what point in their children’s development do they decide treat and raise their boys like girls or their girls like boys? This gender-bending is absolute child abuse and the purveyors should be stopped by law.
It isn’t just Jazz, and I don’t mean to come off as being uncharitable, as I truly feel sorry for this young man who is now ruined for life. What’s next? Transgender surgery?
There is a growing industry that caters to this insanity. There are other children’s books with titles like Jacob’s New Dress, which tells the story of a boy who likes to wear girls’ dresses, or My Princess Boy, which features a young African-American boy named Dyson who “loves pink, sparkly things. Sometimes he wears dresses. Sometimes he wears jeans. He likes to wear his princess tiara, even when climbing trees. He’s a Princess Boy.”
I could go on and on, but I figure you get the idea by now.
Like many of you who have raised children, I too have witnessed my own daughters and sons develop naturally and normally into the girls and boys God made them to be. There has never been any hint of my sons wanting to wear dresses or my girls “identifying” as boys.
If I am wrong or somehow unaware, please tell me so.
To corrupt a child in such ways is something I know, and we all know, is very wrong. Just because a child says something or wants to eat ice cream for breakfast doesn’t mean we as parents are going to let a child so decide. We parents are here for a reason: to teach and to guide our children in what God has created us to be.
Luke 17:2 tells us: “It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should scandalize one of these little ones.”
Pray for Jazz and for any children like him who are being preyed upon by the very people whom God entrusted to lead them to Heaven and not into eternal perdition.
