Survivors — aren’t we all? If you are reading this, you are a survivor of the abortion holocaust.
We must go beyond just surviving abortion ourselves, and now commit ourselves to do battle against the diabolical enemy known as Planned Parenthood.
Two years ago, I visited the city of Los Angeles to do on-the-ground pro-life organizing with some of southern California’s top pro-life warriors. At that time, The Wanderer published my column about the experience titled, “To Live and Die in L.A.” Once again, I come back to the City of Angels where the war against family and life has gotten worse than ever.
While Planned Parenthood’s abortion mills are on the decline across the United States, I lament the fact that they are on the increase here in the state of California. Pro-abort politicians like Gov. Jerry Brown, Cong. Nancy Pelosi, and California Attorney General Kamala Harris are a huge reason for that.
Planned Parenthood is well protected in this state, despite the many terrific efforts being waged by strong pro-life leaders and organizations here like Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, Walter Hoye’s Issues4Life, and The Vida Initiative.
As a matter of fact, that is why I am here this time, as I just joined the Survivors organizing team to help bring reinforcements to the troops.
A lot of the momentum that we are building here and across the nation is in large part due to the powerful undercover videos released earlier this year by the courageous young man David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress. Claims from Planned Parenthood and their minions that these videos are “heavily edited” are pure lies.
Pro-life people already know what Planned Parenthood is all about: murder for profit. What Daleiden’s videos did is provide evidence to the rest of the world about what many of us already know. I have personally seen pro-abortion supporters reverse course thanks to these videos, praise be to God.
I know I’ve said this before and I’ve heard others say it as well: It is truly providential that Daleiden’s first name is David and that he “threw the stone” that knocked the Planned Parenthood Goliath on its rear end. Never in our lifetimes have we seen Planned Parenthood this vulnerable and now is the time to pull out all the stops by further exposing their deceptive and deadly practices, get them defunded, and get them shut down permanently.
I am excited because, here in California, these videos are one of our most important educational and organizational tools. Though these videos have done a terrific job in shocking the world, many have yet to see them, particularly in the Spanish-speaking communities in and around California where, again, Planned Parenthood still has a major death grip.
I want you all to understand that if we organize the Hispanic community well enough against Planned Parenthood, we will be taking away what Planned Parenthood sees as its largest money-making population market.
Planned Parenthood has done such an effective job in killing one-third of our entire population in the last 40 plus years — mainly the African-American population. So, now as the Hispanic population grows, so does the profit potential grow for the abortion behemoth.
We can also accomplish our goals by disempowering Planned Parenthood’s political supporters by helping people realize that when the Democratic “poverty pimp” politicians see them, they see votes and nothing else. They’ll want nothing to do with these people after the elections.
In the same way that Planned Parenthood looks at the low-income communities throughout America, the politicians don’t see people who need health care, but people they can exploit and profit from.
One thing I want to make crystal clear in this very important message to you all is that we need your active participation.
Here are a couple of ways that you can help defeat Planned Parenthood altogether, but especially here in California where the abortion monster thrives, protected by the evil politicians who see nothing wrong with its grisly abortion business.
Pray and pray very hard. Just as many of you have done a terrific job saving babies with awesome campaigns like 40 Days for Life, we need your prayers.
Please pray for me and all of my collaborating pro-life warriors. Pray that we change the hearts and minds of the other people we are aligning ourselves with across the state so that they too become enlightened to the horrors of abortion and that they join us as we build up our pro-life army here.
