11th Planned Parenthood Video . . . Shows Abortion Workers Enthusing Over “Cute” Tiny Organs

By DEXTER DUGGAN

It might seem that abortion workers who kill dozens of babies every week would lose interest in the individual characteristics of their victims, but the 11th Planned Parenthood video released by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) showed a Texas abortionist talking of a colleague’s fascination with their tiny organs.

Even though pro-abortionists often try to minimize the killings by saying most abortions occur during the first trimester, the video released October 27 showed Austin, Texas, Planned Parenthood abortionist Amna Dermish, MD, freely acknowledging the development of recognizable organs then.

A story posted on October 27 by the Christian Post website about the CMP video quoted Dermish saying about a co-worker:

“Yeah, she’ll pull out like kidneys and heart and, like heart we frequently see at nine weeks and she always looks for it. So she’s always, you know, at 10, 11, 12 weeks she’s trying to find the kidneys, and any of the organs of that gestation.”

The talk turned to how “cute” the tiny organs are.

Writer Ian Tuttle commented at the National Review website on October 27:

“As usual, there is plenty in the video to horrify — Dermish setting operating-room milestones not least among them — but I find myself simply awestruck by the moment (on the video) at 7:18. Talking about a Planned Parenthood abortionist who goes searching for hearts post-abortion (fun!), the woman with Dermish, a staffer with Whole Women’s Health, bubbles: ‘Well, it’s cute! It’s cute.’ Dermish adds: ‘It’s amazing! I have so much respect for development, it’s just so incredible’.”

Tuttle dryly added: the development of what?

His comments were headlined: “New Planned Parenthood video: Fetal hearts are ‘amazing’ — That’s why I destroy them as my day job!”

In an October 27 interview, Mallory Quigley, communications director of the national pro-life women’s activist organization Susan B. Anthony List, told The Wanderer that “it’s very gruesome” to hear the aborted babies’ organs being enthused over as “cute.”

To use instruments and “be willing to tear (the baby) with your own hands . . . stopping the process of development,” is beyond description, she said.

“Honestly . . . it’s such breathtaking evil, I have no words” for it, Quigley said.

Dermish’s gestures on the video as she talked about extracting the bodies of advanced-pregnancy babies also made a powerful impression.

“She’s graphically gesturing with her hands how she takes out the body parts,” grasping the spine, Quigley said. “It’s so chilling to see someone who supposedly has taken a (medical) oath to do no harm,” but behaving this way.

“. . . I think the hand gestures really got to me. . . . How she takes the body out,” Quigley said. “They know what they’re doing. They absolutely know what they’re doing!”

The fact such brutal descriptions come from abortionists themselves adds power to the arguments of pro-lifers, she said.

“Everything you see in these videos” shows abortion doctors aware of what happens, she said.

“The brutality of what late-term abortion actually is. . . . How powerful the arguments are when they’re made by the other side.”

Dermish openly admitted to moving the position of the soon-to-be aborted babies in the uterus so as better to obtain their organs — a clear violation of federal law.

Shortly before the 11th video was released, The Federalist website noted on October 27, “The (Texas) health inspector general’s notice to Planned Parenthood states that the organization’s practice of altering the standard of care to procure fetal tissue ‘violate(s) accepted medical standards, as reflected in federal law’ and is therefore a ‘Medicaid program violation . . . that justif(ies) termination’” of Medicaid funding.

Quigley hoped the 11th video would generate pressure to “push the Senate aggressively” soon to join the U.S. House in voting to defund Planned Parenthood.

Leading national radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was appalled by the abortion workers in the 11th video. He said on October 27, “What a sick bunch of people. What a sick thing to be happening in America.”

Limbaugh added that this is the United States, not Nazi Germany.

Abortionist Dermish “aims and strives for intact fetal heads” and laughs about that, Limbaugh said.

It can’t be repeated too often that major-media suppression of the CMP videos shows these media realize how powerful the horrifying evidence is against the Planned Parenthood practices. However, mired in inexcusable immorality, these media are arrogantly determined that the horrors continue as much as possible.

In an October 27 news release, CMP project leader David Daleiden said: “Less than four miles away from the Texas state capitol, Planned Parenthood routinely practices barbaric partial-birth abortions on living, late-term fetuses. Planned Parenthood’s crimes are not just the result of local bad actors, but are tolerated and even encouraged at the highest levels of the national organization.

“State-level criminal investigations must press charges, and Congress’ new select committee must pursue a deep and comprehensive accounting of Planned Parenthood’s atrocities against humanity,” Daleiden said.

Prior Restraint

In a separate development, the GotNews.com website announced the leak of 11 CMP abortion videos that had been temporarily blocked from public release by Barack Obama-appointed pro-abortion federal judge William Orrick in San Francisco.

GotNews.com blogger Charles Johnson posted on October 22 that the issue was moving beyond the sale of baby organs to unconstitutional restrictions on First Amendment freedoms.

“GotNews.com will contest any unconstitutional prior restraint of speech all the way to the highest courts in the land,” he wrote, as his website provided links to the restricted videos.

San Francisco-area conservative commentator Barbara Simpson told The Wanderer that she first learned of Orrick’s temporary restraining order from a small article in her local newspaper, the Contra Costa Times — which, she realized, deserved to be a big story.

“Judge Orrick, an Obama appointee, is quite at home in that arena, so it was no surprise that he did exactly what the National Abortion Federation wanted — stopping the release of any further videos,” Simpson emailed to The Wanderer.

“The truth always hurts, and liberals always do what they can to stifle it and pretend they’re on the side of morality,” she said. “It doesn’t hurt that his wife is a pro-abortion activist, so there is the element of pillow talk that may well have influenced his decision.

“Who knows — regardless — it is simply another example that those who find nothing wrong with killing babies will use every means they can to continue the slaughter,” Simpson said.
