A Book Review . . . Don’t Miss This Blazing Critique Of The Fake News Media

By REY FLORES

Unmasked: Big Media’s War Against Trump by L. Brent Bozell III and Tim Graham; available as hardcover and Kindle at amazon.com, as well as at other booksellers.

It’s no secret that President Trump and his administration are maligned, smeared, disrespected, and overall hated by the mainstream fake news media. Never in history has a president been so attacked and besmirched by an almost entire industry which is supposed to report the news, not create the news.

Given that lecturer, syndicated columnist, television commentator, bestselling author, publisher, and activist L. Brent Bozell III, the founder and president of the Media Research Center (MRC), has had his finger on the pulse of the fake news media since 1987, there’s no one better to tell this story.

Because Bozell’s MRC is the largest media watchdog organization in America, he is uniquely positioned to offer this blazing critique of bias of all types in the national media and how it damages American democracy.

By analyzing the coverage of the rise of Donald Trump and his presidency, Bozell explains all the different types of bias that can occur and exposes their insidious effects. There is absolutely no doubt that the damage caused by the blatant dishonesty of the propaganda-pushing, leftist, so-called “news” media has brought about an age of divisiveness in our country not seen since the civil rights movement.

The buffoonery that has been so clearly demonstrated by the fake news media is an embarrassment to the overall concept of journalism. Ever since Barack Obama took center stage back at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, the news media, and entertainment industry as well, have aimed at the low-hanging fruit of racism and gender politics. This is classic Saul Alinsky 101. Polarize, project, and by hook or by crook, regardless of the means, the end result is the only thing that matters.

Bozell isn’t shy about poking fun at media outlets like the ridiculous Politico. In his book, Bozell points out how Politico’s Mike Allen once made a reference to Obama “throwing his halo into the ring” when announcing his presidency. That is almost as embarrassing as when MSNBC’s Chris Matthews quipped about getting a tingle running up his leg whenever he heard Obama give a speech.

In Unmasked we learn the importance of how President Trump, despite his fame, massive wealth, and professional successes, chose to represent the American people over the elite ruling class up and down the Manhattan high rises down the corridor to Washington, D.C. Hollywood was also of no concern to Trump. We’ve all seen the hissy fits the entertainment industry has thrown.

It’s interesting how the leftists like to throw the race card down whenever they are losing an argument, which is the majority of the time. One can turn on the television or look online at ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and so on, and bet your bottom dollar that they are trashing President Trump or any random member of his administration.

Give it about five minutes and you’re bound to hear about how Trump is “racist.” This coming from the guiltiest of the race baiters in the news media!

Bozell also points out how The New York Times (NYT) and The Washington Post (WaPo) pretty much declared themselves the media “knights in shining armor” by creating new marketing slogans, which exposed them for the liars they are more than anything else.

The NYT came up with the ridiculous and predictable slogan “Truth: It’s more important now than ever.” Sure, as if the NYT had any credibility to begin with. Then there’s WaPo with their ludicrous “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”

Seriously folks, the mere fact that any of these news rags are still in business today only points out the sad reality of how truly dumb millions of Americans are.

These newspapers, and I use the term very loosely, have no news to tell. They exist only to push a narrative given to them by the elites who are their puppet masters. That is, the ones whose worlds were completely rocked when outsider Donald Trump took the reins of the presidency.
