Bleary Biden Bad Enough . . . But He’s The One Who Gives Us Nominees Like Baby-Bashing Becerra

February 28, 2021 Frontpage No Comments

By DEXTER DUGGAN

Joe Biden’s minefield of his own making was bigger than potentially blowing up a few cow pastures. Just over a month after his inauguration, members of the cognitively impaired Democrat’s own party began signing a letter requesting that Biden “end the sole authority you have to launch a nuclear attack, and to install additional checks and balances into the system.”
It remained to be seen, as this article was written overnight on February 24-25, if the White House would quash the seriously embarrassing letter to a president who has a way of talking in word salads that betray a seriously confused mind.
The February 22-dated letter noted that a U.S. president isn’t obligated to consult with anyone else before giving a nuclear-attack order, and if the military believes the order was lawfully given, “that attack would happen in minutes.”
Coincidentally, conservative Sean Hannity’s February 24 national radio program played another tape of aging Biden struggling to express his thoughts. Hannity invited listeners to compare the rapidly declining Biden with elderly U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, who sounds as strong as he did ten years ago.
It won’t be forgotten that a callous elite rammed left-wing Biden into the White House with their tricks and feints in order to remove the successful Republican conservative Donald Trump.
Upon its release, the congressional Democrats’ letter already had 31 signatures, including the very liberal like Ted Lieu, Ayanna Pressley, and Pramila Jayapal. This wasn’t a few conservatives who somehow managed to remain in the Democrats’ caucus.
Citing the letter “spearheaded” by California Cong. Jimmy Panetta, the liberal Politico website posted its text on February 23 that said in part: “…Vesting one person with this authority entails real risks. Past presidents have threatened to attack other countries with nuclear weapons or exhibited behavior that caused other officials to express concern about the president’s judgment.”
The conservative “Russell & Hunter” radio talk program on Phoenix-based KFYI (550 AM) led off on February 24 with this Biden item, noting that corporate media basically had avoided it so far, although such news would have shot to the top quickly if it involved Republican congressional members signing such a letter against an incumbent President Trump.
On the other hand, imagine that a security alert warned that Biden’s erstwhile pals in Beijing had launched a missile attack on the United States. If the congressmen’s plan were approved to review the president’s orders, how much vetting would Joe have to go through before being permitted to respond with a counterattack?
How much simpler life would be if only qualified candidates were allowed to run in the first place, instead of using whatever the Democrats’ electoral trick of the moment happened to be!
Biden’s erratic judgment in many matters already was on the record, but the aforementioned corporate media agreed with much of his agenda, so they saw little to scream about to hurt his reputation with voters, as they did daily against Trump.
Considering how extreme his political nominees have been, one can only imagine how far-out the bad Catholic Biden’s choices for judgeships are to be, able to bang their gavels with the protection of lifetime appointments, to impose a new totalitarian tyranny.
Still, it was interesting to see how Biden’s political appointees could behave when called upon to defend their stands, at least when they still were begging to be confirmed to their posts.
In addition, what pro-lifer could forget that Biden’s vice president, radical left-winger and former U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris, had been so unpopular that she dropped out of the Democrats’ 2020 presidential-nomination race before she had to face voters in a single primary, but then miraculously was resurrected by Biden to be his sidekick?
Harris, whose record as California attorney general had been strongly pro-abortion and anti-conscience, was succeeded in that state job by radical anti-life Democrat Xavier Becerra, a former congressman who — another miracle — was selected by Biden to become his secretary of Health and Human Services, where Becerra could have a field day pushing permissive abortion and clamping down on religious conscience.
When it came to finding left-wing disasters to join his immoral administration, Biden was a 100 percent success.
As a member of Congress, Becerra was a pro-abortion tough guy who repeatedly voted to protect horrendous partial-birth abortion. But when U.S. Sen. Mitt Romney (R., Utah) asked him about this as the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee considered his nomination to HHS, cowardly Becerra couldn’t find a single word to come right out and defend this brutality.
Slaughtering innocent babies with a sharp stab into their brains as they’re being born is Becerra’s game, but being asked about this made him lily-livered as he rambled around.
Romney, hardly considered a hardline conservative, said different people have disagreements over abortion, “but most people agree that partial-birth abortion is awful. You voted against a ban on partial-birth abortion. Why?”
The ChristianHeadlines.com site posted a video along with the text on February 24 showing Becerra babbling along, saying in part: “I understand that people have different deeply held beliefs on this issue. And I respect that. I have worked, as I’ve mentioned, for decades, in trying to protect the health of men and women — young and old. . . .
“And so I will tell you that when I come to these issues,” Becerra continued, “I understand that we may not always agree on where to go, but I think we can find some common ground on these issues because everyone wants to make sure that if you have an opportunity, you’re going to live a healthy life.
“And I will tell you that I hope to be able to work with you and others to reach that common ground on so many different issues,” Becerra said.
Living a healthy life is the last thing a baby can do who has just been stabbed in the head. But Becerra is the kind of scoundrel that the bumbling degenerate Biden chooses to surround himself with.
Romney replied mildly to the coward: “I think we can reach common ground on many issues, but on a partial-birth abortion, it sounds like we’re not going to reach common ground there.”
If it’s difficult to find “common ground” on whether to spear infants as they’re being born, what kind of basic questions do radical Democrats agree with anyone else on? Listening to this exchange, national radio host Charlie Kirk asked why Democrats won’t say when they believe life begins. That’s a pretty fundamental question, not simply a matter of personal opinion.

Unfit To Lead HHS

Catholic News Agency on February 22 reminded readers that as Golden State attorney general, Becerra also fought to keep an “assisted suicide” law in effect after a court overturned it, and he was praised by euthanasia groups for doing so.
The Washington Free Beacon site posted a comment to it by U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) on February 24: “Xavier Becerra did sue nuns. Like all bullies, he’s just embarrassed now that he has been confronted. That’s why he’s trying to deny it. Becerra also sued crisis-pregnancy centers, investigative journalists, and others he perceived as his enemies. Xavier Becerra is unfit to lead HHS.”
Becerra makes one think of an opinion writer at The New York Times (where, of course, everyone writes personal opinion, regardless of the page — have you noticed how political even the obituaries are?) who has just produced yet another piece praising massive abortion.
Why, look how clean Mr. Times’ fingernails are, how fine his manner of talk. How surprised he’ll be to find himself under scrutiny at a future trial for crimes against humanity.
Conservative Republican political consultant Constantin Querard told The Wanderer on February 24:
“Biden was chosen to be the guy to stop Bernie Sanders and he ended up as president, but he has no real national mandate, he has no real political base of people who care passionately about Joe Biden, and he owes tremendous debts to the far left-wing of the Democratic Party that dominates the grassroots and provides the money and passion within his party.
“So he will continue to appoint a great many extremists that satisfy his left-wing base, even if they are the opposite of the ‘moderate Joe Biden’ persona he and the media like to portray,” Querard said. “Ultimately, a president is defined by his policies and his personnel (‘personnel is policy’), and Biden has veered very far left of where he suggested he would be during the 2020 campaign.”

Modern-Day Aztecs

Mary Ann Kreitzer, who runs the Virginia-based Les Femmes – The Truth blog, told The Wanderer on February 24: “Becerra is a disaster for babies in the womb and should absolutely NOT be confirmed. Health begins at conception. We see drugs banned because of their impact on babies in utero. We see warnings for pregnant women urging them not smoke or drink or take certain drugs because of the potential impact on their babies.
“Do we really want a ‘health’ secretary committed to stabbing babies in the neck in the third trimester and sucking out their brains? In 1995, (pro-life activist) Randy Engel revealed that Bill Clinton’s nominee for surgeon general, Henry Foster, was an abortionist. She deep-sixed his appointment by exposing it,” Kreitzer said.
“Since then the left has become more and more committed to not only murdering babies in the womb, but even after birth,” she said. “When a governor who is a pediatric surgeon (Virginia’s Ralph Northam) can say that parents have the right, after babies are born, to decide whether to kill them, you know you are living with modern-day Aztecs.
“They have no compunctions over ripping out babies’ hearts, livers, kidneys, brains, eyes, etc., to sell for experimentation and research. We can expect nothing but radical, evil appointments from this barbaric crowd,” Kreitzer said. “May God limit their days and save us all from the whirlwind they are sowing.”
The Biden presidency is rotting right before everyone’s eyes, but his media cheerleaders squeal of how his administration is so mild and trying to be unifying. Merely ten years ago, would anyone have thought that female athletes should be suppressed by men pretending to be women, or that women would be forced to have men invading their lavatories as a civil right?
Yet Biden made this a priority as soon as he stumbled into the White House, reading from cue cards to find out what he was doing — and hurting Americans as often and as hard as he could. One might think an elderly man in such declining health would be careful of the record he compiled when he eventually must face his Creator, but that seemed to be another fact that slipped Biden’s mind.
Some conservative radio hosts began calling Biden things like Joebama and O’Biden to recall that he’s just an extension of the left-wing Dem president he had served under, Barack Obama. Biden certainly has brought faulty Obama souvenirs along with him like Merrick Garland, Biden’s choice to be attorney general.
At a confirmation hearing — eager to show off his left-wing bona fides? — Garland said there’s a distinction between riots against federal property at night and in the daytime. Well, you see, left-wingers rioting at the Portland, Ore., courthouse did that at night, so they weren’t actually, ahem, interfering with judges, but the putative right-wingers at the U.S. Capitol did that during business hours.
Breitbart News on February 22 recalled that in addition to federal officers in Portland being attacked with a variety of “dangerous devices,” “The riots resulted in the front of the courthouse being boarded up; the destruction of security equipment protecting the courthouse; and the breaking of windows in the offices of federal prosecutors.” But maybe no judges were around to drink tea?
Then, among others, there’s Hillary Clinton’s pal Neera Tanden, a mean-talking leftist who Biden wanted to be director of the Office of Management and Budget. Tanden may not have much of a future, but her insults belong right up there in Biden’s pantheon of pathology.

Abortion Advocates No Longer Consider It “A Necessary Evil,” They Celebrate Killing Babies

Last week, Kamala Harris became the first vice president in U.S. history to make a public visit to an abortion clinic. Though the Democratic party’s support for abortion is nothing new, Harris’ Planned Parenthood appearance does illustrate how that support has become a flagrant celebration of abortion as a public and personal good, essential to both “freedom” and to “healthcare.” At the appearance, Harris proclaimed,  It is only right and fair that people have access…Continue Reading
