Daleiden Case Gets New Life

By REY FLORES

As most Wanderer readers may recall, David Daleiden and his organization, the Center for Medical Progress, exposed Planned Parenthood a few years back with some explosive undercover videos which showed how Planned Parenthood is in the horrific business of selling body parts and organs of the babies they abort.

As if the systematic genocide Planned Parenthood has perpetrated on the unborn since its inception wasn’t evil enough, the butchers employed by Planned Parenthood were caught on video flippantly discussing the way they chop and sell specific parts of the unborn children.

I was thrilled to receive some promising news this past week in an email from my friend Tom Brejcha, president and chief counsel of the Thomas More Society (TMS) based out of Chicago.

The latest development is that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on February 28 ordered Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation (NAF) to respond to the petition from TMS to remove U.S. District Judge William Orrick from David Daleiden’s case.

Daleiden’s TMS legal counsel has argued that Daleiden will not get a fair shake if Orrick remains the judge in this case.

TMS points to a few conflicts of interest, including the fact that Orrick was a board member of the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center (GSFRC), an organization which owns the building that houses a San Francisco Planned Parenthood facility free of charge.

Orrick’s wife Caroline Farrow Orrick too has been a very open pro-abortion supporter on social media, often expressing support for and posting favorable things about Planned Parenthood and homosexual causes.

The Orricks were top political fundraising bundlers for Obama, helping raise over $200,000 for the former president, as well as directly contributing close to $31,000 to committees supporting him.

TMS asked that Judge Orrick, author of a gag order prohibiting Daleiden from releasing any more footage exposing the abortion industry’s dark underbelly, be removed from the case.

TMS has made numerous efforts to remove Judge Orrick from the case because of his connections to Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood and the NAF each have a couple of weeks to respond, so please keep this matter in your prayers.

If Orrick is indeed removed, it could strike a major blow to Planned Parenthood and their efforts to continue to cover up their macabre practice of selling human baby organs and body parts as part of their multimillion-dollar operation.

Daleiden’s work is so incredibly important in our ongoing efforts to end abortion. His videos did more to expose Planned Parenthood and the entire abortion industry than 40-plus years of marches and protests.

Given these latest developments, I encourage anyone reading this to go straight to their social media pages and start sharing the original CMP videos found at the Center for Medical Progress YouTube Channel.

By sharing these videos once more and making them go viral again, we are not permitting Planned Parenthood to attempt to whitewash themselves as the supposedly benevolent institution they and their fake news media friends like to portray them as.

We’ve all heard it said that a picture is worth a thousand words. If that’s the case, Daleiden’s videos are each worth at least a million words.

As Daleiden and the CMP continued to release each video, every story was worse and more grotesque than the previous one.

No wonder the National Abortion Federation wants to continue to have Daleiden’s videos censored because they truly show just what NAF and Planned Parenthood are all about: profit.

One of the most infamous moments was when “Doctor” Mary Gatter was caught on video negotiating the price of human tissue. Toward the end of the bone-chilling eight-and-a-half-minute video, Gatter joked about “wanting a Lamborghini,” basically from the profits of selling pieces of a human baby for profit.

Peter Breen, special counsel at TMS, had this to say about the case:

“We welcome this ruling by the Ninth Circuit panel as we were asking the court to order Judge Orrick to do what he should have done preemptively on his own…that is, recuse himself and step aside from presiding over a case in which he has had a direct, personal, and decades-long relationship with an organization whose property and employees were alleged by the abortion provider plaintiffs to be endangered by our client’s citizen journalism, namely, the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center (GSFRC), of which he was a founder and longtime officer and director, and which houses one of the plaintiff PPFA affiliate’s facilities.

“This relationship was established during Judge Orrick’s leadership tenure on the board, and GSFRC continues in an active joint venture with this plaintiff PPFA affiliate. At the same time, Judge Orrick has been held out to the public as serving as an Emeritus Board Member of GSFRC. This relationship was not discussed to the parties, nor did Judge Orrick disclose its full extent or duration to the U.S. Senate during his confirmation process.”
