How many of you are registered to vote? How many of your family and friends of voting age are registered to vote? These are important questions, my friends, because whatever is left of our nation is totally at stake here.
The reason I ask these questions is that I am currently conducting a series of powerful “Get Out the Vote” training workshops across the country as grassroots outreach coordinator for the fantastic Leadership Institute. These last few months have found me conducting training sessions in California, Florida, New York, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin — just to name a few places.
If you aren’t familiar with Leadership Institute, you should be.
Since 1979, the institute has prepared conservatives for success in politics, government, and the news media. Over the years, the Leadership Institute has trained more than 176,413 students and its mission is to increase the number and effectiveness of conservative activists and leaders in the public policy process.
To accomplish this, the Institute identifies, recruits, trains, and places conservatives in government, politics, and the media. We offer over 40 different types of training ranging from speech writing, on-camera interviewing skills, effective uses of social media, political campaign management, and high-dollar fundraising courses.
Most of our training takes place in Arlington, Va., just four short miles from the White House, but as I am now doing, we also take our training workshops on the road as often as we are in demand.
What the “Get Out the Vote” workshops entail is a three-hour program where we train candidates, campaign volunteers, activists, and everyday citizens who want to become more active in the political arena to win elections.
Participants are taught proven and effective tools and strategies which the progressive left has often used to defeat conservatives in the past. My goal is to teach conservatives all over America how to use some of these same winning strategies to beat the radical left at every chance we get.
It’s easy to complain about how awful certain politicians or their policies are, but it takes work to make the necessary changes to save whatever is left of our nation.
You have to look around you and see what are your issues and concerns this election season: Does Common Core make you angry? Are you tired of extremist abortion-supporting elected officials forcing us to participate indirectly with the killing of innocent babies by using our tax dollars to fund Planned Parenthood?
These are only two examples of what many of us conservatives are up against on both the local and the national levels. What are your main issues and concerns affecting your immediate state, city, or town? What changes are you willing to make to win and defend the traditional conservative values you grew up with and want your children and grandchildren to also have?
It takes a disciplined effort to win elections and this is what we teach at the Leadership Institute. Winning elections isn’t just a game of luck or good fortune — though it has been a game of cheating in some instances.
There is a science to the madness. There are measurable goals and metrics which have to be established in order to successfully reach your desired goals, and of course, victories.
This nation is in a lot of trouble, and if we allow the radical left-wing liberals to extend the damage done these last eight years under the current administration, then we might as well kiss our once-great nation goodbye.
I’m fairly certain that if you are reading The Wanderer, you already have a good grip on our faith, but also on the declining state of our nation. America has almost become unrecognizable with all sorts of deviant social agendas to confuse our kids about their gender and how God made them.
Never has our world, particularly our nation, been so threatened by Islamic terrorists while our president continues to decimate our military.
Never has our nation seen an administration make such an effort to divide our citizens by a manufactured racism — designed specifically to divide us. That makes it easier for government powers to control us.
And why are we allowing our government to infringe upon our First and Second Amendment rights at every chance it gets?
We need to turn the tables and take our country back! We need to organize ourselves and come out to the election polling places like never before. The future of our nation desperately needs us and we must answer that call.
As long as I am alive and have the ability and means to do so, I will not let that happen and that is why I strongly encourage all of you to reach out to me. Let’s schedule a “Get Out the Vote” workshop in your area. October is our last-chance power drive to get the conservative vote out.
Not only do I get to meet a bunch of dedicated, terrific conservatives throughout the nation, but before our training, we break some bread together. Then we roll our sleeves up for an intense three-hour rally of powerful information that can help you win elections this fall.
We will cover everything: identifying your voters, registering them, and getting them to the polls. We also cover the advantages of early and absentee voting programs and their proven effectiveness to win elections.
What we are offering here is a serious battle plan for serious-enough Americans who want to protect our God-given rights and constitutional freedoms. This is basically a road map to victory.
In any war, there are weapons necessary to defeat the enemy. We must draft an army of volunteers and know how to successfully deploy our infantry. Our aim is to dominate the enemy early on through things like early voting and absentee voting, door-knocking, and phone banking.
Voter contact is key, and we conservatives must have a grassroots-level ground game comparable, if not superior, to what the radical left has. Ultimately we must run effective Election Day operations to win, win, win!
