Not Right To Eat Babies?… Don’t Worry, Dems Are Eating Themselves Alive Instead

October 15, 2019 Frontpage No Comments

By DEXTER DUGGAN

Democratic Cong. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the audience at her New York town hall didn’t react with outrage when a young woman stood up to say that the climate crisis is so severe, people need to start eating babies because there already are too many polluting people.
The unidentified woman at the early October event cited a Swedish professor saying people should eat the dead, but she said that wasn’t enough to deal with the crisis as she repeatedly urged infant cannibalism.
Ocasio-Cortez never responded to rebuke the stranger for suggesting cannibalism, but just said the crisis isn’t quite that severe.
Writer Miranda Devine commented at the New York Post on October 6 that “AOC’s initial response was instructive. She didn’t dismiss the idea of infant cannibalism as repellent, but humored the woman with a neutral answer. ‘Well, we have more than a few months,’ she said, as if it were simply timing that ruled against baby-eating.”
AOC obviously knew her radically pro-abortion Democratic Party even has leaders pushing for permissive abortion up to, and past, the time of birth. Her New York state legislative Democratic pals and governor, Andrew Cuomo, rejoiced last January in legalizing permissive abortion up through birth.
Hmmm, was this stranger a spokeslady for the next step in Democrat-sponsored slaughter, the infanticide lobby? AOC, who herself has pushed the Dems further left, didn’t seem to want to offend this aborning lobby, if that’s what it was.
Who knows, the next unidentified spokeslady may start suggesting recipes for how best to eat the babies, and AOC-style Dems sure wouldn’t want to lose such a potentially vital bloc at the ballot box.
Some observers tweeted that AOC’s (presumably dominantly Democratic) audience remained emotionally distant because that’s how New Yorkers are regarding weird displays, thanks to experiences like riding the subway.
But just a moment’s thought disproved that defense. It’s impossible to envision AOC’s listeners so passively accepting a hypothetical speaker saying that, you know, Hitler had the right idea about the Jews. Or that the Ku Klux Klan should be a good example of race relations.
It subsequently turned out that the champion of baby-eating was a prankster, but she certainly proved her point. New York Dem activists including AOC and her audience are so far gone on hysteria, they’re uncertain how to receive a suggestion that goes a little further than they’ve already gone, and they don’t want to be on record as opposing another step forward into the progressives’ future.
Coincidentally, at almost the same time as this passive Dem town hall, President Trump spoke at an event in Florida during which a man in the audience unexpectedly shouted “Lock her up,” an apparent reference to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and her record of corruption.
Trump had learned that the dominant media hating him would interpret his possible silence to such a comment as being an endorsement of it, so the president pointed to media members present and said, “I’m sorry I smiled. The fake news is back there. Look at them. . . . You know they want me to admonish you. . . .
“I’m admonishing you,” Trump lightheartedly told the shouter. “Never, ever say that again.”
Trump brushed off the incident then resumed his talk on Medicare.
An Arizona Republican congressman, David Schweikert, told the October 7 weekly meeting of the Arizona Project Tea Party in Phoenix how inflamed the political atmosphere has become, with Democrat leftists “living in conspiracy town, and they’re tearing up the country….We have people who go and watch crazy town” on leftist media that misleads them.
He said that if these media attack Trump often enough, people watch a bit longer, which increases advertiser profits.
Schweikert, whose Sixth District runs north and east around metropolitan Phoenix, recalled that MSNBC’s leftist Rachel Maddow attacked Trump vehemently over alleged election collusion with Russia until the Mueller Report eventually absolved him. “What happened to Rachel Maddow’s ratings the next day?. . . They crashed,” he said.
Citing his experience, Schweikert said that the “middle,” where about one-third of the voters used to be, has all but disappeared, with only about seven percent left who truly are swing voters. He added later that rather than having to reach 900 houses in a precinct, the campaigner needs to aim at only 15 who aren’t already committed to one side.
In the nation’s capital, “Everything is weaponized” in the political wars, Schweikert said, adding that a California liberal Democrat he used to be able to work with on legislation doesn’t dare do so now because leftist activists in his district wouldn’t stand for it.
Schweikert said he can’t step outside his congressional office and walk down the hall as he talks to his staff because someone else will be following with phones to catch what’s said.
“The left has professionalized almost an evil,” Schweikert told the Tea Party audience. “…Remember, we had death threats on my little girl” about a year and a half ago. His daughter is four years of age now.
The congressman said that “some really angry leftists” are threatening him, but, “If you allow it to intimidate you, they’ve won.”
They “do training on how to reach our family members” as well as members of Congress themselves, Schweikert said, adding that he requires more security protection now.
An audience member spoke up to say that he grew up in Colorado but that state turned blue because of harassment that drove conservatives away. He added that leftists used the same sort of intimidation against supporters of California’s Prop. 8 for traditional marriage, which he worked for, but that measure still managed to win, in 2008.
Schweikert began his remarks by noting Democrats’ focus on impeaching the president, so that nothing else is getting done in Washington, “and we may be incredibly blessed by that” when one recalls what else is in the Democrats’ agenda that they’re not focused on.
In the same New York Post opinion column noted above about baby-eating, writer Miranda Devine also dealt with the continued ferocity of the establishment’s attack against Trump.
“Only a barbarian could defy the liberal establishment as he has done,” Devine wrote. “Imagine if (Mitt) Romney were president, trying to be dignified and patrician. They’d eat him alive. Unless, of course, he did nothing to block their agenda, in which case he’d be left alone like all the other cowardly roll-over Republicans.
“The American people chose a barbarian for president because they knew only a barbarian could drain the Washington swamp,” she wrote.
Indeed, the lawless, lying thuggery of fanatical House Democrats with their “impeachment inquiry” against Trump would be far more appropriate for some left-wing dictatorship like Venezuela’s.

Lies And Fabrications

In a damning eight-page letter to House Dem leaders on October 8, White House attorney Pat Cipollone noted Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s own serious lies denying previous contact with the so-called “whistleblower” on Ukraine and Schiff’s public fabrication of what Trump supposedly said on that phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Cipollone enumerated that among unprecedented and unconstitutional activity, the Dems denied Trump the right to cross-examine witnesses they chose to call and were questioning in secret, to call his own witnesses, to receive transcripts of testimony, to examine evidence, and to have counsel present.
Manufacturing their own sort of investigation, the Democrats then chose to leak only what they thought served their interests to cooperative media.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) herself, when asked about the alleged content of the phone call that Schiff lied about, replied that Schiff did not lie.
The New York Sun isn’t part of the howling media pack. In an editorial posted October 8, the Sun noted with amazement that Dems even were thinking of concealing the mysterious “whistleblower’s” identity forever.
“ ‘Kafka couldn’t make this up,’ we noted when we first touched on the possibility of impeaching a president based on the tidings of an anonymous accuser,” the Sun said, adding:
“The Democrats can’t stand the idea that anyone is fully invested in defending the president — never mind that a full and vigorous defense is at the heart of due process in America. It’s not just that the Democrats want to keep the accuser secret. They want to keep the Republicans from defending the accused.”
In an incident reported by the Washington Examiner on October 8, a Michigan congresswoman in her home district lied to a town hall meeting, claiming that Trump on the phone call asked the Ukrainian president “to dig up dirt” on Dem presidential hopeful Joe Biden.
The Examiner reported that constituents erupted in disagreement, accusing the congresswoman of “Fake news” and being “Not true!”
Democrat leaders are covering themselves with shame and slime in their rabid hatred of Trump, with the help of their equally rabid media allies.
If Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t even know if it’s safe to condemn eating babies, or if this may be the voice of some new Democrat constituency that mustn’t be offended, the Dems are eating themselves alive.
