Obama Plot, Media Spin, Economic Wreck . . . It’s Not Only Coronavirus That’s Sickening America

May 17, 2020 Frontpage No Comments

By DEXTER DUGGAN

Not only did the world have to worry about mutations of the mysteriously birthed coronavirus, but the pandemic also had political offshoots — as well as coincidentally occurring events that should make a person gasp for breath not from disease but from shock.
It was bad enough that the dangerous germ appeared to have come from a Communist Chinese coverup, and even perhaps bacteriological-warfare planning that benefited Beijing all the way from quelling Hong Kong dissenters to potentially finishing off the pro-America-first Trump administration.
Add to this the fact that reasonable questions about Americans’ physical health and survival were being denounced by elitists as far-right extremism in the same way that any defense of Donald Trump had been flayed during leftists’ huge foreign-fakery campaign to drag him from the White House.
And we must append to the gusher of current news the emerging confirmation that 2017’s outgoing Obama administration, including presumptive 2020 Dem presidential nominee Joe Biden, engaged in potentially the biggest political scandal in U.S. history, to criminalize duly elected new President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and the Trump administration for no valid reason whatever.
If the coronavirus hadn’t left you gasping, that attempted political coup should.
And, moreover, a thoroughly deceitful and corrupt dominant media were eager allies in this Dem-devised political warfare and continue to be so today, looking around blank-eyed in amazement that anyone might think that Obama, Biden, and their fellow schemers did anything wrong.
National Democrat bandmasters claim to favor science, until pro-lifers show them scientific ultrasound images of preborn babies.
They claim to be worried about offenses against women. Until women pinned to the wall by left-wing Democrat politicians speak up.
They swear they’re defending good health amid the coronavirus pandemic, until someone asks why left-wing New York Dem Gov. Andrew Cuomo is doing far worse in the fight than conservative GOP Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
When news of the mystery virus emerged, utmost caution seemed justified. Would half of entire nations’ populations soon be wiped out? When the danger proved to be considerably less, moderation in coping with its problems seemed wiser.
Zuhdi Jasser, MD, founder of the reformist American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD), said on May 13 that Anthony Fauci, MD, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is being like a cautious corporate attorney when instead the ill effects on all locked-down Americans need to be considered.
“The science of medicine has now become politicized,” Jasser said.
Jasser, a former lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy, who served as a medical officer, spoke on the Conservative Circus radio talk program of Phoenix-based host James T. Harris (KFYI 550 AM) about the virus challenge. They discussed the curl-up-in-a-ball attitude versus the “Let’s roll” courage of passengers aboard one of the 9/11 commercial jetliners.
Like the politically correct media line used against Trump over foreign “collusion,” Reuters news service saw bad things at hand again — this time when Trump, like many other nations’ leaders, justifiably worried over economic devastation and hunger for their peoples under prolonged virus lockdowns.
Reuters on May 13 jeered that those defending Trump and criticizing Fauci came from “the American far right and online conspiracy theorists.”
So even necessary questions about the nation’s future had to be waved away if they were thought to hinder Democrats.
The U.S. stock market has had good days recently when it saw positive signs for a battered economy longing for recovery, but some tough days when folks like Fauci emitted gloom.
Meanwhile, who could overlook the following tragedy? There had been a real opportunity for newly elected Trump to put the U.S. on a more amicable footing with Russia, and there appeared real hope within Russia that he could do so, even though President Vladimir Putin was a strongman.
After all, decades of U.S. liberals had yearned for friendship with the USSR despite atheist Communists running that show. But Obama and his corruptocrats in 2017 rushed in to poison relations with Moscow in Dems’ own interests, so that Trump barely dared smile at Putin lest he be denounced as a Russian agent. Can’t let world peace get in the way of Dem-inspired turmoil.
Conservative Republican political consultant Constantin Querard told The Wanderer on May 13: “By now I think we’re all running out of new things to say when it comes to the media’s nonstop attempts to ignore the truth and cover garbage in the hopes of turning the country against the president, Republicans, conservatives, etc.
“No one is really surprised anymore, so the focus needs to shift to finding new, reliable sources of truthful information, then to promoting those outlets so that the reach of the Fake News establishment is made smaller every year,” Querard said.
The British spiked commentary site, like many others, saw the irony when leftists who claim to be concerned about workers appear oblivious to factors like the damage of sky-high unemployment, even among young people, who seem least likely to suffer serious health consequences from the virus itself.
Brendan O’Neill, the editor of spiked, posted on May 13: “Britain is heading for the largest economic contraction on record. It is predicted that millions will lose their jobs. The global lockdown contagion has had even more terrible consequences elsewhere. More than 100 million Indians are at risk of losing their livelihoods.”
Under the headline “The lockdown left is no friend of the working class,” O’Neill added, “The International Labor Organization believes that 1.6 billion people could lose work as a result of the pandemic and the lockdowns.”
Even the left-wing U.S. magazine The Nation noted the worldwide implications of food disruption under the headline posted May 1, “COVID-19’s third shock wave: The global food crisis — Many people are already going hungry in the United States; many more will face hunger or starvation in other parts of the world.”
A woman commented at a Phoenix neighborhood message board on May 12 that grocery and restaurant prices were rising. “Companies are going to do that to make up for the time they were off and measures they have to take now, and the government won’t be far behind because of all the stimulus money and increased unemployment pay. It’s actually kind of scary to think about what’s coming.”
As for public safety, a May 13 Washington Examiner editorial noted that the left wing was praising New York Dem Gov. Andrew Cuomo even though “two to three times as many New Yorkers have died from COVID-19 per capita as in the worst-hit European countries, including both Italy and Spain. Why exactly is he being praised for some vague accomplishment of ‘rallying’ the very state ravaged in no small part by his own dangerous incompetence?”
Meanwhile, the Examiner said, “one need only look at the vastly different treatment the media gave Florida (GOP) Gov. Ron DeSantis. The Sunshine State has a bigger population than New York and arguably is just as international. It has a disproportionately vulnerable and older population. Yet Florida’s COVID-19 deaths per capita are less than one-tenth of New York’s.”
Some Catholic commentators lamented that the Catholic Church was letting left-wing Democrat infanticide governors decide when it holds services.
Meanwhile, remember the silly solemn march of the impeachment articles from the U.S. House chamber over to the Senate in mid-January that included bug-eyed liar Cong. Adam Schiff (D., Calif.)? While this was no more than street theater under a ceiling, there had been real crimes, but not by Republicans.

Obamagate

The conservative RedState blog on May 12 provided its summary of a review by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson:
“The short version of the story is that both former President Barack Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden held a meeting during the last days of their administration with various intelligence officials where they plotted to take down president-elect Trump through shady means, including entrapping Gen. Mike Flynn and deliberately making false claims about his relationship with Russia. . . .
“It’s understandable why the press would avoid pointing out the facts about the Obamagate scandal,” RedState added. “There are two major things at stake under the umbrella of this story being suppressed. The first is Obama’s legacy, which the left holds up as a pristine example of what a president should look like….
“The second is Biden’s presidential campaign, which would take yet another blow if it turns out that he knew the entire Russia investigation was a hoax from its inception,” RedState said, noting that the Dem establishment would stand revealed as liars, cheaters, and abusers of the resources of the intelligence services.
Biden took a bruise on May 12 when ABC interviewer and liberal George Stephanopoulos pressed him on what he knew about Obama administration moves to investigate Flynn. After denying awareness, Biden admitted he knew, but he tried to minimize what he had done.
The Federalist conservative website scored a point against leftist media on May 11 when it noted CNN’s Brian Stelter bemoaning that conservative media were paying attention to the burgeoning Obamagate scandal instead of focusing on the pandemic tragedy.
“It’s so disappointing to look at what we’re seeing from right-wing media these days,” Stelter said, “where there’s such an obsession with the deep state, and these revelations with the Russia probe, and the decision about Michael Flynn.”
Well, Federalist writer Tristan Justice said, if left-wing media hadn’t been so focused on spreading fake stories against Trump for years, maybe they could have found some time for how to avoid future pandemics.
Moreover, as Stelter well knows, newspapers and news programs regularly feature more than one or two stories, even if big ones, on their cover pages — especially if there are three or four conservative topics they can trample consecutively.

We Can No Longer Trust

Northern California conservative commentator and electronic media veteran Barbara Simpson told The Wanderer on May 12: “I spent years of my professional life in media — television news primarily — and I have never seen such political bias as there is today. We have seen the continual coverage of the so-called Russiagate as a means to try to destroy Donald Trump. It didn’t succeed, and now the tool is the deadly coronavirus.
“No one (denies) that it is dangerous, but the trick that mainstream media plays is that Donald Trump is at fault for not preventing it in the first place. Media ignore the faults of the Bush and Obama administrations in their handling of preparations, pretending that ‘the Donald’ is at fault for that,” Simpson said.
“How sad that the means for Americans to learn about what is going on in our government has been so perverted that we can no longer trust what they say and write,” she said.
Rob Haney, a retired chairman of the Phoenix-based Maricopa County Republican Party, told The Wanderer on May 13: “The Fourth Estate (alphabet networks, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) and the Fifth Column (Democrat Party) have joined forces in a united effort to overthrow our constitutional republic. Russiagate, Ukrainegate, and now Pandemicgate are just the three most recent examples….
“They have woven a double standard into our judicial system through their duplicity and projections,” Haney said.
“If convictions do not result from the upcoming release of secret testimony and documents, I’m afraid the chance of saving our Republic becomes very unlikely. Therefore, the need for President Trump’s victory and a Republican control of the House and Senate this fall becomes more critical to the survival of our country as the Founders intended,” he said.
