Paving The Road To Hell . . . The New Standard In Ethical Guidelines

The Obama administration, at a July 17 press briefing, when confronted with the ghoulish reality that federally funded Planned Parenthood is profiteering with the sale of aborted baby parts, responded by citing Planned Parenthood’s statement that it has acted in a way “entirely consistent” with the “strictest ethical guidelines.” (See p. 1A of this week’s issue.)

Not even at the pinnacle of the reign of the Third Reich as the minions of Adolf Hitler were heinously marching the Jews into the chambers of the death camps would the ministers of misinformation have released a statement as belligerent or as in-your-face as this is. Have we now redefined the word “ethical” to the point where it is not only acceptable to murder a human being, but we can also market the body parts of that person?

Anybody with a hint of a conscience who is not repulsed by this statement either does not have a heartbeat or has sold his soul to the Devil.

Upon reflection on the July 17 statement, it becomes apparent that it embodies what this president and his administration have embraced for almost seven years now. We are witnessing a government that continuously redefines its moral code as it administers and legislates. This pattern of reinventing what is right and wrong is nothing new to this administration and our courts.

It provides good cover in their attempts to excuse corruption, from the Justice Department to the IRS scandal, Benghazi, Obamacare, and the Supreme Court rulings. Redefining ethics to fit the agenda and wishes of the governing has served them well.

We can only hope and pray that this new low in “ethics” is a turning point. Is there anything more unimaginable than a culture that condones the killing of its children for the harvesting of their body parts? Are we that far gone as a country that this does not strike at our inner being? The murdering and harvesting of babies for their tissues and body parts is “entirely consistent” with the “strictest ethical guidelines” – – I wonder whether even Joseph Goebbels would have made such a public proclamation.
