When many Americans probably were hoping for a Thanksgiving holiday break from a high-stress year, even if some left-wing pandemic politicians tried to tell them how many bites of turkey they could eat with what members of their family, suddenly it appeared that the results of a presidential election were being manipulated almost right in front of their eyes.
After four years of dominant-media and Democrat war against Donald Trump, the immediate post-election results from November 3 showed that Americans had been surrounded by a fog of complete fantasies, but they fought back through the grimy mist.
November supposedly would prove that Trump was a detested fraud who would be swept away by a tsunami of blue votes while the Senate’s composition would flip into a Democratic majority and the House would expand its strong Democratic edge.
However, despite predictable media pre-election disinformation and Dem trickery to twist vote results, all of the carefully scripted suppositions were exposed as phony.
Recalling Satan’s title as Father of Lies, we see that he did his deceptive best but still failed to deliver the mandate for the Party of Death.
Votes still were being counted as this article was written overnight on November 4-5, but whatever the eventual totals, a narrowly divided Senate might well remain under Republican control, the Democrats definitely lost seats in the House although they likely would retain a majority, and Trump might well eventually be proved to have won reelection, despite corrupt Joe Biden’s boasts.
The Cook Political Report, often described as nonpartisan, posted on November 4 to apologize about how it had been misled by polling about House races, and to commend Republican Party officials “for continuing to invest on offense when other consultants wrote races off.”
The Cook report said early House results showed that “Democrats suffered a catastrophic erosion in Hispanic support,” and “It was a stellar night for Republican women.” This, of course, is exactly contrary to narratives that had been concocted about an alleged deadly fate for Republicans among these segments of the electorate.
When Americans needed relief and reassurance after many months of turmoil that came to a head in 2020, Democrat partisans instead boiled up more disturbance if that’s what it took for a Biden win.
The left-wing UK Guardian admitted what stared everyone in the face on November 4: “The polls on the whole proved to be grossly misleading, overestimating Biden’s strength in state after state even more than they overestimated Hillary Clinton’s strength in 2016. Major pollsters missed the mark in many places by high single digits, and polls at the more granular district level were even farther off.”
In an analysis, the UK Guardian fulminated: “Democrats had hoped that four years of turmoil, attacks on norms and institutions and mendacity — plus a pandemic that cost 230,000 lives — would result in a quick, clean, and overwhelming repudiation of the 45th president.”
However, it grumbled, neither Vladimir Putin nor James Comey could be blamed for the president’s success: “Trump proved resilient and increased his vote in Florida, Texas, and other states. He found even more white working-class voters than last time and chipped away at Democratic support among Latinos. His cult-of-personality campaign rallies were as enthusiastic and rambunctious as ever.”
The Trump team said it expected that accurate counting still would bring about the president’s success in the Electoral College. But Biden and his media allies were expected to boast that presidential victory belonged to the Democrat, and any subsequent attempt by Trump to obtain an accurate count must be attacked as his refusal to accept defeat.
As Trump had warned for months, massive, unprecedented early voting swung wide the doors for manipulation and deceit.
And the supposedly scientific practice of polling once again was revealed to be even less accurate than tossing a sealed box of chocolate and two goldfish into frigid water, then measuring voter sentiment by seeing how much chocolate the goldfish would eat after opening the box before jumping out of the cold bowl. Hmm, do goldfish even eat chocolate? Or open up boxes?
Just as in 2016, most polls showed Trump with a slight to no chance of winning in 2020. In its final poll before the election, posted on November 1, the NBC/Wall Street Journal analysis showed Trump a full 10 points behind nationally. But as of 3:30 a.m. on November 5, the Journal’s website showed Trump trailing Biden by 2 percent of the popular vote.
Ten points behind? A falsehood to drive Trump supporters into despair and inactivity.
As pro-Trump journalist Peta Credlin commented from over on the other side of the world on Sky News Australia, establishments are hard to take down.
In part, the New York Post commented editorially on November 4: “Before Election Day, the ABC-Washington Post poll gave Biden a whopping 17-point lead in Wisconsin; on Wednesday (November 4), his lead was 0.6 percent. ‘That’s not a mistake. That’s not an error,’ noted pollster Frank Luntz. ‘That’s polling malpractice, and you have to go to tremendous lengths to be able to get something that wrong so close to the election’.”
To cite just one of many other possible examples, in 14 polls by various organizations, Maine’s incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins never once led Democrat challenger Sara Gideon, with Emerson shortly before Election Day putting Gideon up by 6 points, 48 to 42. However, with 98 percent of precincts reporting, Collins won by 9 percent, 51 to 42, according to News Center Maine.
Asked for a comment by The Wanderer, Virginian Mary Ann Kreitzer, who runs Les Femmes — The Truth blog, said: “I think Archbishop Viganò says it all in his latest message of today, November 4. He calls us to pray without fear, to call on our Lady. We all recognize the corruption and dishonesty of the Democrats. We know they manipulate and lie and that the integrity of the vote and our system is in jeopardy. But God has not abandoned us.
“We need to take up one of our most powerful weapons, the rosary, and fall in behind our 12-star general,” Kreitzer said. “. . .We need not fear no matter what happens. We remain on the battlefield and light will ultimately prevail over darkness.”
Reports were coming in of more votes being cast in some states than there were registered voters, as well as Republican poll watchers being impeded from carrying out their duties. Kreitzer commented: “No election integrity. If anyone can fight this, it’s Trump.”
Indeed, the president’s attorneys were preparing challenges to vote-counting dishonesty. One lawsuit launched in Wisconsin said that “after election observers had gone home, ‘at 3 or 4 in the morning, about 120,000 ballots appeared . . . and they all got counted’,” wrote New York Post columnist Miranda Devine.
The conservative One America News Network (OAN) posted on November 4 that House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy “stressed the president will win re-election after every legal vote is counted. Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said questionable vote counts in several key states are likely to delay the election results and the final decision could be made in the courts.”
Having been exposed as liars throughout Trump’s presidency, shameless dominant media quickly turned to a new propaganda campaign against him.
An OAN video analysis the same day said: “The fact is that Donald Trump won a second term last night. Democrats are tossing Republican ballots, harvesting fake ballots, and delaying the results to create confusion,” waiting until left-wing thugs can make people focus on their own physical safety instead.
Even if Trump hadn’t gotten the immediate victory he hoped for, neither did the Democrats dreaming of a sweep. As of early on November 4, the liberal Politico site said, Dems had, among their disappointments, an unsettled outcome and the real possibility of a second Trump term.
Trump made a brief statement at the White House shortly before 2:30 a.m. on November 4 noting how well he’d been doing in the vote count, then something strange happened. “All of a sudden everything just stopped,” he said. “This is a fraud on the American public. This is an embarrassment to our country. We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.”
He didn’t want a pause that allowed unauthorized mysterious ballots suddenly to appear.
One example he gave was of Arizona prematurely being declared on national television to have gone for Biden. This call by the decision desk at Fox News caused considerable shock, not least in Arizona, where highly partisan Democrat Adrian Fontes supervises voting as county recorder of Maricopa County, by far the most populous in Arizona and home to Phoenix.
The night of November 4, Phoenix television news showed pro-Trump demonstrators outside the recorder’s office demanding a fair count.
Earlier, numerous Arizona voters told of being given Sharpies pens by election workers that, when used, caused problems with their ballots being tabulated. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, a Republican, tweeted that his office “received hundreds of voter complaints regarding Sharpies at polling locations,” so his office responded with a letter to Maricopa County elections officials seeking answers.
LifeSiteNews.com posted on November 4: “President Donald Trump has declared victory in Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, and Michigan, in an aggressive move to frame the narrative going into what promises to be a heated battle of lawsuits and recounts to decide the 2020 presidential election.”
A separate LifeSite story on November 4 said the FiveThirtyEight data site reported a new batch of 23,277 Philadelphia votes, every one for Biden, although, LifeSite said, election authorities had yet to explain “how it is that apparently a local population of 23,000 voters could be statistically expected to cast each of their votes for just one candidate.”
Elsewhere, it seemed surprising that Trump lost Minnesota by a larger margin this time than in 2016 despite the urban riots and looting earlier this year that Trump denounced. They sprang up after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
A state map showed most of Minnesota was colored Republican red, but not the urban centers.
A longtime Minnesota political observer told The Wanderer: “Many had high hopes for victories for Trump and also for pro-life GOP U.S. Senate candidate Jason Lewis. Sadly, those hopes were dashed against the force of a powerful local leftist media, a deeply entrenched DFL Party, and a peculiar local assumption that anyone with anything above an eighth-grade education is naturally a liberal Democrat.”
The DFL is the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, the state’s distinctly named affiliate of the Democrats.
“Oddly, Pew Research in 2014 said that 56 percent of adult Minnesotans ‘Believe in God; absolutely certain.’ Either that belief has weakened, or — more likely — people are forgetting the implications of their belief, given the timidity of many religious leaders,” she said, adding:
“I think the secular liberal influences here have shown outspoken determination, no doubt intimidating many conservatives, and that’s why support for Trump has weakened. Certainly, the local GOP ran a well-organized effort on behalf of Republican candidates.”
Positive Spirits
National conservative commentator Quin Hillyer told The Wanderer that “election results give no dominance to either party. They show this is a nation without a strong majority on either ‘side’ of the political divide. Divided government should mean, in a better world, that our elected officials learn to work with each other again, across the aisle, to get things done. Whether that is indeed what happens is very much up in the air, though.”
Some observers might have thought national talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh could have had excuses to feel bad on November 4. Not only had his hero Trump failed to secure an immediate win, but Limbaugh himself of course continued to face daunting health challenges from lung cancer.
But Limbaugh sounded as happy as if he were 20 years old and had just gotten his hands on a national microphone for the first time in his life. “Trump’s going to end up winning Arizona. . . . There’s great lawyers on the case in Arizona,” he enthused.
May Limbaugh’s and Trump’s positive spirits lift us above the “dark winter” doomsdays of Biden and his gravediggers.
