The Pro-Life Revolution

Rey Flores

“You say you want a revolution, well you know . . . we all want to change the world. . . . But when you talk about destruction, don’t you know that you can count me out! Don’t you know it’s gonna’ be alright, alright, alright!” — Lyrics from The Beatles 1968 song Revolution, written by Lennon-McCartney

Yes, ladies and gentlemen . . . there is a revolution, a pro-life revolution happening right now as you read this. Just this past week hundreds of thousands of Americans protested, rallied and got together to speak out against one of the greatest injustices, if not the greatest, injustices of our time.

All across this land and other countries like England and Ireland, men, women, and children gathered outside of Planned Parenthood and similar abortion facilities to speak out against the systemic slaughter of innocents to let the world know that we will not remain silent about abortion anymore!!

Because of a handful of undercover videos, the pro-life revolution has finally arrived in full force.

Every single one of us owes a debt of gratitude to David Daleiden and his colleagues at the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) for shining the light on the evil that is Planned Parenthood. Thanks to this young man’s efforts, the international pro-life movement has been reenergized and empowered to hopefully take down the abortion Goliath down once and for all.

So far, eight undercover videos recorded and released by the CMP have been the catalyst to change many hearts and minds of former abortion advocates and supporters. Thanks to social media these videos have gone viral and have reached people who otherwise may not have been reached because of an abortion-friendly mainstream media that never in a million years would have broadcast these videos.

While it is clear that our cause to defend life has gained a lot of traction these past few weeks, we mustn’t grow in apathy or complacence. I say this because as my wife Mary was organizing a group of youths and adults to attend the Washington, D.C. rally against Planned Parenthood, several people turned her down because they were too busy at the shopping mall or spending time with friends. What if Paul Revere had been too busy to participate in the American Revolution?

This is it folks, never in any of our lifetimes have we seen such an effort here in America to dismantle an organization whose sole purpose is to create a culture of perverted and disordered human sexuality so they can therefore sell us the lies and poison of low-dose contraception, ultimately leading to 1.6 million abortions in the United States.

These people are wicked and their wickedness has come into full Technicolor glory in the CMP videos. How can people talk about dismembered infants in such a callous manner? One doctor wants a Lamborghini and another one jokes about detached babies’ heads, while yet another thinks it’s “kind of cool” to see a born-alive infant twitch as he gasps for his last moments of life on a cold stainless steel table as the butchers prepare to cut his face open to get his little brain to sell.

Nobody could have ever dreamed up the horrors which we have witnessed. Planned Parenthood has been lying to us all for so long that many people are still not convinced. I can’t imagine what it will take for the most rabid of abortion supporters to acknowledge that Planned Parenthood is truly evil.

In one rally in Detroit, a small group of malcontents identifying themselves as Satanists performed some kind of strange ritual where two men were pouring gallons of milk on two women who were on their knees. I’m not sure what that ritual represents, but I imagine that since milk is representative of one of the most beautiful and natural acts of motherhood, by pouring milk on these women, it was some sort of mockery on motherhood.

That brings me to my next point; how can this organization call itself Planned Parenthood when it works to destroy parenthood altogether? The name itself is a deception because there is no planning or parenthood in anything this organization does. The only planning they do is to indoctrinate young people with their pornographic sex education programs, dispense low-dose birth control, and schedule as many abortions as possible.

Planned Parenthood may as well have a conveyor belt seeing how efficient this well-oiled machine runs. It is well-oiled with all sorts of financial schemes, from taking in 500 plus million dollars a year from government tax money to overcharging poor women for contraception and abortion. While the auto and steel industries collapsed for the most part in our country, the industry of abortion has grown exponentially.

How do people like Cecile Richards sleep at night knowing that what they do is nothing short of mass murder? I guess that’s like asking how the Nazis slept at night also or how ISIS terrorists sleep now.

I realize that John Lennon did not write the song Revolution about the pro-life movement, but I find some of the lyrics appropriate anyhow, especially if we apply the following lyrics to the current efforts to defund Planned Parenthood. . . . “But when you want money for people with minds that hate, all I can tell is brother you have to wait.”

And Planned Parenthood has certainly demonstrated that they hate babies, they hate women, they hate parenthood and they hate life altogether. Why doesn’t the Southern Poverty Law Center list them as a hate group?

Stand strong people because the revolution has just begun, and this time, the revolution is being televised . . . online at least.
