Dr. Katharine Sheehan, Planned Parenthood medical director for the Pacific Southwest, is our newest macabre celebrity doctor to star in the ongoing expose of Planned Parenthood videos from the Center for Medical Progress.
This latest video can be viewed on the Internet under this title: Human Capital — Episode 1: Planned Parenthood’s Black Market in Baby Parts.
In one clip of this latest video, Dr. Sheehan gushes, “Oh, you’re warm, I want to hang on to you,” as she shakes one of the undercover investigator’s hands. It is so telling that Dr. Sheehan rejoices in a tiny moment of human contact with a warm, breathing, living human being, perhaps because she is so used to dealing with cold dead ones so much.
I still have a hard time referring to these women as doctors. Whatever happened to the Hippocratic Oath? Aren’t doctors supposed to heal and save lives?
Two weeks ago we met Dr. Deborah Nucatola, last week we met Dr. Mary Gatter, and this week it is Sheehan, and for a brief moment, another doctor. Four women who a month ago were going about business as usual, dealing in the profitable
trade of human organs, tissue, and souls. Today, they probably are all figuratively under the wheels of one of Planned Parenthood’s infamous pink buses with Obama’s name emblazoned on the back.
While explicit and bloody images of the carnage that is abortion — be it the posters used by Face the Truth activists or videos like the Hard Truth — are nothing new in pro-life activism, there’s something even more horrifying about these videos.
There are many of us who have worked, prayed, and fought against abortion who may be numbed to the gory images, but many are being exposed for the first time to the Planned Parenthood staffers who are demonstrating a new level of cold-bloodedness never before seen outside of old historical films of the Nazis.
I wonder if any of these women are mothers themselves. I also wonder if Planned Parenthood’s most ardent supporters are as horrified as many of us are when they watch these videos.
I understand that science and the medical schools and medical community deal in organ harvesting, organ donations, transplants, and other such things, but when we see an organization like Planned Parenthood using terms like “Fetal Cadaverous Specimen Procurement,” people must ask questions.
Isn’t Planned Parenthood always talking about a woman’s choice and about health care for low-income women? And then there’s always all of this talk about keeping lawmakers out of their bodies and keeping our rosaries off their ovaries.
What do any of those things have anything to do with fetal cadaverous specimens with a price tag of $550 nonetheless?
Is the “choice” that Planned Parenthood refers to the choice of the women getting the abortions, or the “choice” the organ and tissue buyers get when picking and choosing entire fetal cadaverous specimens, or just a liver or heart?
Are any of you as disgusted, disappointed, and just terribly sad for the state of the human condition today as I am? I am beside myself. I have seen much human suffering in my lifetime, but I have never seen such cold and calculated behavior from anyone, let alone from those who call themselves a doctor.
As I write this, #WomenBetrayed rallies are taking place across the country demanding that Planned Parenthood be defunded by the federal government. How could any government officials continue to watch any of these videos as proof of Planned Parenthood’s unethical, dishonest, and atrocious practices, and still justify giving them any money?
I applaud the Center for Medical Progress and pro-life leaders like David Daleiden and Operation Rescue’s Troy Newman for their courage and collaboration in bringing light to the evil that is Planned Parenthood.
Great job, gentlemen! I pray that the frivolous lawsuits Planned Parenthood and its backers have thrown at you disappear quickly.
They say that light disinfects the rotten and putrid mold that stinks and sickens, so here’s hoping that all of the people who have supported Planned Parenthood in the past, and sadly in the present, change their minds and their hearts.
Lastly, I commend Holly O’Donnell, the ex-procurement technician for Planned Parenthood’s Stem Express, for her courage to share her experiences and story with the Center for Medical Progress investigators in this latest video.
Pray that she has much success in whatever path God has for her and that she inspires more Planned Parenthood employees to step out of the darkness and also share their stories to save more lives and souls.
