(Editor’s Note: As The Wanderer went to press this week, news about the release of a fourth video from CMP was breaking. We will continue to keep our readers updated about developments.)

Last week, as the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released its third undercover video, social media websites like Twitter and Facebook were being lit up with pro-lifers sharing the video and many, many comments and memes (memes are clever images with an accompanying message) that slammed Planned Parenthood, and deservedly so.
Meanwhile, back in mainstream news media land, Cecil the lion was being mourned by allegedly the entire planet. Never mind that poor little human baby in the Planned Parenthood video, cut up into several tiny pieces in what looked like a pie dish.
No, according to ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the sycophants in Obama’s Ministry of Propaganda, the world was paralyzed in mass grief over a lion who had been murdered, assassinated, and annihilated by an evil Minnesota dentist.
This is the world we live in now — or at least the world we are supposed to believe we are living in today — where the loss of a lion’s life is that much more tragic and newsworthy than the murder of millions of babies through abortion.
If the mainstream news media are forced, and I mean forced because they cannot bury what happens on social media, they will only report how these videos are “heavily edited” and obtained by “unethical and illegal” measures and how Planned Parenthood is not breaking any laws by benevolently “donating” human tissue to medical researchers to so nobly save more human lives.
The Center for Medical Progress has consistently reminded the news media that the entire unedited versions of all of their videos are available and posted on its website for all to see. But the mainstream news liars would prefer to deliberately ignore facts, videotaped facts, and maintain that the videos were “heavily edited” to make Planned Parenthood look bad, ultimately to “deny a woman her reproductive rights.”
As if any of us who believe in the sanctity of life and fight to protect the unborn are secretly using those supposedly made-up reasons to pull off our real intention to “deny a woman her reproductive rights.” What’s in it for any of us, anyway? To actually stop the human carnage?
Never ones to miss a beat, Planned Parenthood and its supporters have also taken to social media to try and discredit the Center for Medical Progress, but are failing miserably to beat the onslaught of pro-life activists who are seizing on this opportunity to shut the mega abortion giant down once and for all.
Planned Parenthood is running scared and has again hired a public relations firm to do some major damage control over these videos. Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards and their greedy executives and lawyers are envisioning millions of dollars growing wings and flying out of their windows and they are doing whatever they can to hold on to every last dollar.
Also in the back pocket of Planned Parenthood are pseudo-news organizations like The New York Times, publishing obviously biased op-eds that read as though they originated from Planned Parenthood’s own communications department. “The Propaganda Campaign to Misrepresent Planned Parenthood” is just one of their latest articles in which Anna North writes:
“The Center for Medical Progress is not content to criticize what Planned Parenthood actually does. Rather, they seek to portray the group as an evil conglomerate (or ‘abortion giant’ as the anti-abortion activist Lila Rose puts it) gleefully raking in money by taking apart fetuses and selling them.”
I wholeheartedly challenge Anna North to explain to us all how she knows what makes CMP’s David Daleiden content. I further challenge her to tell me how any of these videos — which include several admissions and discussions about the prices of aborted fetal organs — are “smearing” Planned Parenthood in any way. Planned Parenthood doesn’t need any help in making itself look bad; it does a great job all by itself.
At the behest of Planned Parenthood’s lawyers, the Los Angeles Superior Court issued a narrow temporary restraining order last week preventing the Center for Medical Progress from releasing further undercover video footage taken of three top-level staff of StemExpress, an organization which, according to CMP, purchases the body parts from Planned Parenthood.
That’s an indication that Planned Parenthood knows that the jig is up. These kinds of legal actions are practiced by people and organizations that have something to hide.
If Planned Parenthood is as awesome and terrific as they and their sycophants in the news propaganda media say they are, why the restraining order? What is it about Planned Parenthood that they do not want the world to know?
While the restraining order is only temporary, I pray and hope that this does not slow down the intense momentum and trajectory in which the pro-life movement is on now. We must not take our figurative collective boot off their throats while they are down. Planned Parenthood must be stopped and stopped right now.
It all depends on all of us out here on the ground level, at most pro-life organizations and on social media, to make it happen.
As for Cecil the lion, I agree that all of God’s creations must be respected and protected, but given the choice between helping to stop a modern-day human genocide and mourning the death of an animal, I’ll take the first without a second thought — and so should any human being with a heart, a conscience, and warm blood running in his veins — even the pseudo-journalists.
