Women are men and men are women. Marriage is not a man and a woman but instead two men or two women. Children are parents and parents are children. Bad is good and good is bad.
Inversion: It’s the key to understanding the current social and moral dilemma. Nothing is what it seems and, if it’s anything at all, it’s the opposite of what one might suppose.
Inversion explains the rampant divorce rate, the opposite of marital commitment until death. It explains the fad of homosexuality, which in fact inverts attraction to the other in true complementarity, man for woman and woman for man, into its opposite in attraction to self.
Inversion explains the madness of surgical and medical mutilation to change one’s sex. Once doctors would have shared the logic that such is impossible. Now they simply obey from others with absolutely no medical training in what is simply another inversion.
For many years we have rued the eclipse of parenthood as elders ask children what they want and offer no moral or religious guidance.
The climax of this madness is the current trend of announcing that an expected child will decide his or her own gender after birth.
It was with some relief that I witnessed the Sussex royals announce they had been blessed with a boy baby. This after some chatter that they would not declare the gender and let the child choose for “itself.”
Perhaps someone fought that battle out on the side of reason in private and won.
However, Jonathon van Maren wrote as follows for LifeSiteNews on May 8:
“And now, the United Kingdom’s most prominent transgender lobby group, which bills itself as a ‘charity’ for ‘gender variant and transgender children,’ has attracted the attention of a very high-profile sponsor: Prince Harry. Mermaids — the organization is named for the mythical half-human, half-fish creatures who are sexless from the waist down — has ‘thrown his weight behind the cause of transgender children’ with the announcement that the Royal Foundation will be working with the charity, according to the Daily Mail.
“The Royal Foundation functions as the ‘primary philanthropic and charitable vehicle’ for the Duke of Sussex, his wife Meghan Markle, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who have not yet commented on the announcement.
“Prince Harry, who recently had his first baby, met for a roundtable discussion some time ago with the CEO of the transgender advocacy group along with a number of other organizations at the Ealing YMCA. This perceived royal endorsement — and again, Prince William and Princess Kate presumably agree with the Royal Foundation’s support of Mermaids — was greeted with great glee by trans activists, who believe that Prince Harry’s public stance will assist them in further mainstreaming their cause.
“Mermaids, which was founded in Leeds in 1995, is a particularly controversial group due to the fact that it advocates for children to be granted easier and swifter access to puberty-blockers and medical ‘transition’ (including mastectomies and castration).
“In fact, Mermaids director Susie Green, a former IT consultant, took her own son to Thailand at the age of 16 for ‘genital surgery’ — physical castration. Green told the Telegraph that Prince Harry’s support for the transgender cause is particularly gratifying because ‘I think it’s always really important to young people to see that people with the authority and credibility that Prince Harry has are supporting them and are listening and acknowledging the fact that they exist. This is somebody who has got that profile who is showing clear understanding of the issues they’re facing.’
“Green went so far as to say that Harry’s public endorsement of a medically dubious cause involving children making irreversible decisions was similar to Princess Diana’s advocacy on behalf of AIDS victims.”
And at the root of all of this is the most basic and fundamental of all inversions: man become God.
The satisfaction of diabolical pride is the source of the inversions which currently seek to replace God and nature with man’s own mutilations. The anti-creation of surgery, drugs, abortion, and sodomy — all attack God in sacrilegious revolt. The hatred of the Devil for all that is divine ravages the Earth through the evil complicity of man and woman.
Eden is played out again in a cosmic inversion of the redemption in Christ.
But God has already become man not through inversion but through love. Returning to the key of complementarity though the hermeneutic of the Incarnation reintroduces love into the human project. God cannot be outdone.
The Lord retains yet the power through His cross and Resurrection to undo the machinations of the evil one and to set things right once again.
He chooses to do so through the cooperation of you and me. Each day our baptismal task is to invert the choices of Adam and Eve in a reordering of creation for the divine project of redemption.
In our Lady’s month of May our daily rosaries can be dedicated also to the obedience of all creation to God’s plan of obedience. Mary’s “fiat” was the original inversion of evil into holiness as she became the Mother of God nine months before the first Christmas.
Mary’s obedience to the plan of God vanquishes today in all of us who are her children the disobedience of the evil one who stills roams the Earth seeking whom he may devour.
Let us recall the Memorare:
“Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.”
