In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Dear family, in view of Veterans Day, let us pray to honor veterans of all services and wars in thanksgiving for all their sacrifices made. For one cannot even enter into training for war without sacrificing a portion of one’s own freedom and without sacrificing irreplaceable time with family and friends, and those are spiritual wounds indeed.
And all those who enter into war itself are wounded in one way or another. So many wounded in body. So many wounded in spirit.
Thanks be to God, when dark forces rise, men, and now women, of generations past and present, have come forward to battle against such forces to defend and protect our lives and our liberty.
And so we honor them and pray for them today as we remember Veterans Day. Let us invoke the Name of Almighty God as we intercede on behalf of all our veterans, as we implore God’s Grace and mercy for them.
May Almighty God bless our veterans indeed, and send His healing upon them, in body and soul, and may we do our part in honoring our veterans by standing up for the Constitution to which they swore an allegiance, and for which they sacrificed so much to protect.
We ask for this blessing upon them, and for wisdom and courage for ourselves, in Jesus’s Holy and exalted Name, Amen.
Dear family, since Tuesday, November 3, I have been asked a boatload of times: “Now what?” A simple answer might be “you can’t fix. . . .” — and you can fill in the blank with whatever adjective you care to use. It seems most people fill in that blank with “stupid,” and many might think that certainly applies to the many low-information voters in the electorate. However, there is something far more pertinent to merely lack of knowledge of government and economics. Something to keep in the back of our mind during this meditation is: that you can’t fix Godlessness.
Always remember that Jesus didn’t force faith upon anybody. In fact, He let the Godless crucify Him. Dear family, we cannot fix Godlessness.
Which is why, as the saying goes, the chickens have come home to roost.
For the first 175 years of our Constitutional Republic, Almighty God was a fixture in our government schools. His presence was constitutional. Now, after almost 60 years of taking God out of schools — and not only taking God out of the schools but replacing Him with the false theory of evolution — now we have generations of voters inculcated with Godlessness and false evolutionary theory.
Oh yes, dear family, those chickens have come home to roost.
And we have over a half century of Godless hedonism, beginning in the 1960s with so many spoiled brats raised by the parents of baby-boomers. Those parents, having lived through the deprivation of the Great Depression and then another six years of greater deprivation during wartime, then tried to give their children everything they never had. In doing so, so many were spoiled rotten. (Understand, we never are spoiled good!)
These spoiled boomers came of age in the mid to late 1960s and were on the forefront of the sexual revolution. Now we are overwhelmed by, and even oppressed by, a promotion of Godless adultery in every possible shape or form — every alphabet soup combination mortal minds can concoct. Now we have generations of voters inculcated with their Godless hedonism.
Oh yes, dear family, those chickens have come home to roost.
And worst of all, we have 47 years of the slaughter of 60 million innocents, and counting. Ironic, isn’t it: Joe Biden has been in government for 47 years. The Godless have commandeered the language and turned satanic murder of innocents into a “right” to “choose”!
Oh yes, dear family, those chickens have come home to roost.
But then again, we cannot be surprised by the events of Tuesday, November 3, a purported honest vote amidst so much fraud perpetrated against the real will of the people. We knew the Godlessness of the Democrats when, in 2008 and again in 2012, so many voted in a Godless socialist who worked tirelessly to destroy faith and family.
Many fake Catholics and Christians voted in someone who previously had spent years in Chicago and elsewhere spreading left-wing ideology as a “community organizer.” In truth, a “community organizer” was the “leaven” that made socialist ideology rise to new heights. Not “community organizer,” but “comrade recruitment” would be the more accurate description.
Given all this, let us recognize the truth spoken by the great Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen way back in 1947. Just this morning I listened to his speech once again, in a talk entitled “How to Meet Communism.”
Interestingly, he said, quote: “Communism is NOT an economic doctrine. It is a philosophy of life.” Then he said: “Economic conditions were very good in the Garden of Eden but Lucifer started his revolt there!”
Then he said this — 73 long years ago he said this:
“A nation always gets the kind of politicians it deserves. If a time ever comes when the religious Jews, Protestants, and Catholics ever have to suffer under a totalitarian state, which would deny to them the right to worship God according to the light of their consciences, it will be because for years they thought it made no difference what kind of people represented them in Congress, and because they abandoned the spiritual in the realm of the temporal.”
Again, quote: “because they abandoned the spiritual in the realm of the temporal.”
As I have made clear, but the majority of shepherds have not, there are five intrinsic evils, always and everywhere wrong. Morally. Culpably. Damnably. Evil. How can we reach the conclusion that the majority of shepherds have not made this clear? Because they did not publicly denounce the USCCB voter guide, which did not make this clear: A faithful Catholic cannot vote for a politician or party that notoriously promotes the satanic slaughter of babies.
Memo to clergy and laity alike. A Catholic cannot belong to the Nazi party whose diabolical ideology included killing Jews, Catholics, and homosexuals. Similarly, a Catholic cannot belong to a Democrat Party whose satanic ideology includes the slaughter of babies.
As it is said — some things are a no-brainer. So what does that say about so many clergy and laity?
Notice, by the way, that nowhere amongst the five intrinsic evils, is “I don’t like someone’s personality.” Personality does not trump policy, especially it is the satanic policy of slaughtering of 10,000 babies every Saturday.
Not the least bit surprisingly, instead of seeing demonstrations objecting to Saturday’s continued satanic slaughter of babies, I saw where minions of Black Lives Matter literally were burning an image of the president and chanting out “F-bomb Trump.” Can you imagine the left-wing media backlash if a Catholic did that or said that about Obama, Hillary, or Biden? Thank you, Black Lives Matter, for once again proving what a Godless enemy you are of all things good and decent and moral.
And, of course, we saw all the birds of a feather flocking together in a premature celebration of purported victory, including the alphabet soup folks and the toxic feminists. It just doesn’t end.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Dear family, the party platform of Respect for Life trumps the party platform for the satanic slaughter of 10,000 babies every Saturday, every time, and nothing, absolutely nothing, comes close.
We know this, of course. But look what has just happened. It may even seem like Almighty God did not answer our prayers. Everywhere people were praying and praying and praying, but now it seems to no avail. And not only does it seem to be to no avail, even from within supposedly Catholic ranks, betrayal.
The USCCB came out with congratulations saying, quote, “We congratulate Mr. Biden and acknowledge that he joins the late President John F. Kennedy as the second United States president to profess the Catholic faith.”
Dear family, as the great Archbishop has Chaput reminded us, and as Pope Benedict XVI taught us, quote: “Lay people and priests don’t need to publicly renounce their Catholic faith to be apostates. They simply need to be silent when their Baptism demands that they speak out, to be cowards when Jesus asks them to have courage.” In other words, dear family, Silence is complicity.
Without going into the question of whether Kennedy was a faithful Catholic — and a lot could be said about that question — here’s a memo to the USCCB: Biden does not profess the Catholic faith, period.
Faithful Catholics do not support a Godless ideology that it’s OK to murder our babies.
Faithful Catholics do not celebrate alphabet soup weddings.
Faithful Catholics do not vow to go after the Little Sisters of the Poor and force them to pay for contraception and abortifacients in their insurance plans.
Faithful Catholics are not against the Hyde Amendment which prohibits the federal government from using taxpayer money to pay for the satanic slaughter of babies.
Faithful Catholics do not pick as a running mate — the one-hundredth worst senator who herself supports every intrinsic evil in the party platform.
Joe Biden is anything but a faithful Catholic.
Thus, despite people praying everywhere, now it seems to no avail, when even from within supposedly Catholic ranks — betrayal. Consequently, true faithful Catholics are not just concerned, but baffled and bewildered. They seem to have a question racing through their minds: How could you let this happen Lord?
At times like this, we have to remember He let Good Friday happen too.
To the truly faithful Catholics, here and around the world, I only can say, henceforth, the blood of every slaughtered baby — and the loss of every soul due to Godless policies put in place by the Godless regime ostensibly elected — is on the hands of every shepherd who failed to say: Just as the Democratic Party said you cannot be a Democrat and be pro-life, Amen, I say to you again, you cannot be Catholic and vote for a Democrat.
