Democrat Abortion Elite . . . Tire Of Concealing Extremism, Decide To Shove It Into Open

By DEXTER DUGGAN

Carolyn Gerster, MD, would tell of the time she visited the old Soviet Union and noticed a building that always was busy. What’s going on in there?
That’s an abortion clinic, she was told.
A what?
A place where only abortions are performed, the young American physician was informed.
Gerster was stunned at the idea of a facility whose only purpose was ending the lives of babies.
This was before the permissive abortion movement began to rear its head in the United States in the 1960s. The Godless, Communist Soviet Union, no respecter of human life, wanted abortion easily available to the women under its boot.
Having driven them into lives lacking hope and faith, the Communist ideologists offered them a merciless escape from birth, too.
Graduating from medical school at age 22, the precocious Gerster joined the U.S. Army as a Medical Service Officer and rose to the rank of captain before re-entering civilian life.
Gerster was an internist and cardiologist who helped lead fledgling pro-life movements in Arizona and nationally after permissive abortion began to be pushed in the U.S. She died at age 88 early this year.
When she would recollect seeing the Soviet abortion clinic, it was with a sense of amazement that something like that could exist, before the U.S. elite set out to ram it down everyone’s throat here with propaganda and lies.
The propaganda always has been key to that movement, to disguise its viciousness and dishonesty.
The U.S. Supreme Court imposed this death doctrine in January 1973 with a blizzard of errors and fantasies, and expected that the nation would quickly accept it and move on. However, permissive abortion still stuck in Americans’ throats 19 years later, in 1992, when cunningly pro-abortion Democrat Bill Clinton and his fiercely pro-abortion, Alinskyite wife, Hillary, carefully strategized to win the White House.
Democrats only wanted abortion to be “safe, legal, and rare,” the Clintons lied. They had no intention of restricting the permissive High Court-contrived law. Indeed, Bill as president was to go on twice to veto a federal bill restricting the infanticidal extreme of partial-birth abortion, the first time while telling more lies, but the second veto behind closed doors.
Saying that the official Democrat Party position was for abortion to be “rare” is like saying that Barack Obama wants federal spending to be “rare” even as he piles trillions of dollars of new debt on the nation’s broken back.
So the Democrat platform got around to changing the wording. “Rare” has disappeared. The only stated aim now is always-increasing access to “safe abortion,” or “safe, legal abortion” — the Democrat elite’s putative goal after it finished purging its ranks of dissenters.
However, “safe” abortion is another bit of language hokum being phased out. Just abortion itself is all that actually counts.
Nor does the Democrat Party platform want to confine the barbarity to the U.S. They want it spread around the entire world — no matter how many other countries may resist. Colonial imperialism, thy name is Democrat.
By contrast, the wording in the Republican Party platform this year under Donald Trump is considered the most pro-life it ever has been.
For decades U.S. pro-abortion troopers have fought against bills to restrict abortion later in pregnancy, even though this poses additional health perils. They have shrugged off the very idea that a baby mere weeks from birth deserves any respect to protect her from suffering, poisoning, or dismemberment.
Post-viability “abortion” was medically unknown until the High Court conjured it.
The troops have fought against bills for parental consent or even notification to parents that their minor daughters will be given abortions.
Parents could end up with unexpected complications and medical bills to heal a young daughter’s mind or body whose “procedure” they as her guardians never would have consented to if asked.
Schools have sneaked minors off for abortions, even though the schools wouldn’t dare let daughters go on field trips or receive non-abortion medications without parental knowledge and consent.
If a stranger said he wanted to give a 13-year-old student a piece of candy back in the alley, the school would call police. But if a strange doctor the young teen has never met wants to give her an abortion drug that could result in severe damage and bring her shocked parents to the emergency room, fine and dandy.
A perforated uterus? Suicidal despair? Sterility? Just part of freely providing “women’s health care.”
The abortion troops have fought against clinic safety standards year after year. They cheered when the Supreme Court handed down this year’s farcical, invented Hellerstedt decision that says abortuaries don’t even have to use the routine health and safety standards of other facilities because this would impede access to abortion.
What’s a familiar piece of dialogue when an abortion clinic has to call 911 for damage to a client? Send the ambulance around to the alley! Abortionists don’t want attention to all the harm they cause. The Supreme Court was happy to comply by delivering Hellerstedt.
Ironically, legalizing permissive abortion was touted to close down “back-alley” abortuaries, but embarrassed legal-abortion clinics can’t get along without keeping their hidden back alleys busy with emergencies.
Moreover, who says that adults’ (but not minors’) legally guaranteed access to alcoholic beverages means that any bartender can set up shop in any shack and sell whatever rotgut he pleases, then demand that the government pay for unlimited drinks?
A driver with multiple DUI convictions would lose her license, but even to suggest that a woman doesn’t need six abortions would be screamed down by Hillary Clinton’s extremists.
What other demand for a medical procedure is supposed to be honored, regardless? Someone would be encouraged to enter counseling if he demanded to have a healthy hand, arm, foot, or leg amputated because that was just his dream or desire.
If he demands to have his mother killed because he declines responsibility for her future, it’s time to address his problem, not eliminate her existence.
Perhaps the other exceptions these days to denying unneeded medical services are “assisted suicide” and “sex-change” procedures — also part of today’s leftist culture of death and disorientation. People who must be constrained in this connection aren’t the upset, confused, and disoriented, but the morally traditional who say no to society being buried alive.
Much of the abortion controversy arises from the dispute between reality and fantasy. The unborn baby isn’t just a little ghost who can be poofed away with a wave of the hand. She’s an innocent little living body about to be destroyed.
The elite comfort themselves with fantasies. When they finally face facts, like former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson and the late pro-abortion crusader Bernard Nathanson, MD, they have no choice but to change sides.
Why do Hillary, Obama, and their troops dig in their heels so they’re left on the wrong side of the chasm? Perhaps they’re the real “anti-choicers.”
