Do We Really Have Religious Freedom?

July 4, 2017 Frontpage No Comments

By REY FLORES

At 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, in Little Rock, Ark., 32-year-old Michael Tate Reed drove his car straight into a newly installed monument of the Ten Commandments, knocking down the 6,000-lb. slab of granite less than 24 hours after it had been installed on state capitol grounds.
Like many other mentally challenged attention seekers today, Tate broadcast his stunt live on Facebook. On the video, you can see that it was still dark outside, you can hear his car radio playing, then he proceeds to say, “Oh my goodness,” then he yells “Freedom!” as he rams into the monument before the video cuts off.
This is symbolic of how Godless liberals are acting out against anything that represents Christianity in any way, shape, or form. Tate’s mental state is obviously as unhinged as all the other liberals acting out in all sorts of violent and destructive ways.
They aren’t happy just ruining people’s lives, like that Christian couple who have basically lost everything because they refused to bake a wedding cake for a same-gender male sodomite couple. The left is not content forcing their homosexual agenda on all of society; its adherents also want to do away with anything Godly that reminds them of their own immorality.
The crazy behavior in obviously not just limited to desecrating or vandalizing churches or public religious symbols. Day after day, we see many talentless hacks known as entertainers and the fake news propagandists doing everything they can to smear, slander, attack, and undermine President Donald J. Trump and anyone who supports him.
Whether it’s actors portraying Trump in a stupid play in New York City, or some dumb over-the-hill rapper pretending to shoot Trump with a fake gun, or some failed comedian pretending to hold the severed head of the president, or even a gaggle of insane liberals in Chicago beating the daylights out of a Trump piñata — the bottom line is that because Trump represents traditional and conservative viewpoints, they are going to attack on all fronts.
As we celebrate yet another Day of Independence on this Fourth of July, we must wonder if the “freedom” we all know and love is truly still freedom. It seems that the fake news media have done a great job of brainwashing the masses of zombies who are still throwing a huge collective temper tantrum because their Democrat candidate Crooked Hillary lost the presidential election.
We’ve all seen, heard, read about and argued the case for “religious freedom,” but how can we say we have religious freedom when the Christians are openly persecuted for standing up for their beliefs, despite hurting the feelings of a bunch of disordered snowflakes?
For decades now, Christianity has been the one religion in this country which can be made fun of, ridiculed, spit upon, and dismissed without any blowback or repercussions from American society at large. If any of us dare defend our Christianity in the public sphere, we’re likely to be laughed at, if not verbally or physically assaulted.
If someone had knocked over some monument commemorating something Islamic, the whole country, particularly the race-baiting liberals and their buddies in the fake news media, would be on the air 24/7 denouncing the act, and demanding that whatever “white, racist, bigoted, Islamophobic” domestic terrorist be brought to swift justice.
While homosexuality is not a religion yet, some radical progressives treat it as if it were. Instead of a cross or crucifix, they use a rainbow flag all over public places to promote the sin they worship.
If anyone dared to burn one of their flags, then, again, the whole liberal universe would bust a gasket and demand that the “homophobic, bigoted, white, Christian” domestic terrorist who did it be strung up and hung by his neck.
As Washington, D.C., radio personality for WMAL Chris Plante always says, “If the left didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at all.”
What I would like to say to every liberal, America-hating, Godless progressive is that if they don’t like our country, our Judeo-Christian foundation and our president, they can take themselves straight to Cuba or China where all the socialists can be together in misery.
If you don’t love our greatest nation in the world, leave. It’s like the big mouth celebrities who kept saying they’d move to Canada if Trump became president. Well, guess what? Donald J. Trump is president; so what the heck are they waiting for?
Having this clown in Arkansas knocking down the Ten Commandments monument is not entirely different from those terrorists who are running over innocent pedestrians in places like Germany, London, and even in New York’s Times Square.
Who is to say that the next incident won’t have one of these unhinged liberals drive his Volvo into a Catholic Mass right here in the United States? One maniac in Mexico recently stabbed a priest in the throat right in the middle of Holy Mass. How long before that happens here?
I really don’t have an answer as to what we can do to put an end to all this insanity. Do we sadly have to have another 9/11 before we can all come together as a nation? Must we push our own society into complete ruin before people wake up and realize just how crazy things have gotten?
As we celebrate Independence Day, remember why the founding fathers and Revolutionary War era patriots wanted their independence. They wanted to worship as they pleased without persecution. They didn’t want to live under the tyranny of a king who fleeced them, restrained them, and kept them from being free men.
Let us show some gratitude for the freedoms we still have, and ask God for the courage and perseverance to defend our religious freedoms for a long time to come. God bless America!

Now more than ever, vehicles like The Wanderer are needed for clarification and guidance on the issues of the day.

Catholic, conservative, orthodox, and loyal to the Magisterium have been this journal’s hallmarks for five generations. God willing, our message will continue well into this century and beyond.

May Everyone Have a Blessed and Joyful Easter

Is Easter being replaced with the ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’?

Two observances — Easter and the recently contrived “International Transgender Day of Visibility” — fall on Sunday, March 31 this year, causing some to wonder “Is Easter being replaced with the ‘Transgender Day of Visibility?’” It’s a valid question. For more than a few, it certainly will. Others might dismiss this as nothing more than a coincidence. That would be a mistake. Abortion Advocates No Longer Consider It “A Necessary Evil,” They Celebrate Killing Babies

Last week, Kamala Harris became the first vice president in U.S. history to make a public visit to an abortion clinic. Though the Democratic party’s support for abortion is nothing new, Harris’ Planned Parenthood appearance does illustrate how that support has become a flagrant celebration of abortion as a public and personal good, essential to both “freedom” and to “healthcare.” At the appearance, Harris proclaimed,  It is only right and fair that people have access…Continue Reading
