What GOP Majority?

Multiple sources have reported that the 1 trillion dollar stop gap funding deal arrived at over the weekend in congress to keep the federal government running until September has the Democrats beaming with delight and why wouldn’t they?  Looks as though our Republican congress will hand them a bill which continues to fund Planned Parenthood, does not provide a dime for the funding of a wall, and provides continued funding of sanctuary cities. Looks a lot like business as usual. Hopefully what’s left of the GOP, those with a spine (namely the Freedom Caucus) will save the day. ___ Joe Matt, Publisher
