In a huge victory for pro-life Americans, the Senate voted for a budget amendment to its multi-trillion spending bill that bans taxpayer-funding of abortions for any federal fudns authorized under the bill. Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma introduced a resolution amendment that protects against taxpayer funding of abortion. His amendment to prohibit the use of taxpayer dollars for funding of abortions and abortion-related discrimination was successfully adopted by a vote of 50-49 to the Democrats’ partisan budget resolution. The amendment ensures that the budget will comply with the

Earlier this week, LifeNews.com reported on some extremely depraved and disturbing claims. Documents obtained by the Center For Medical Progress (CMP) via a FOIA request suggest that the government paid millions of dollars to the University of Pittsburgh so it could harvest tissue from aborted babies for research. What’s more is that supposedly these babies’ organs are harvested before they’re killed. And we claim to be a civilized society when we do that?! LifeNews’ initial report from August 3 stated that “Judicial Watch and the Center for Medical Progress said they obtained 252 pages of new documents about the university’s practices from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.” These d

Bishop Paprocki: “The problem has not been solved, but tensions have been heightened.”

July 29, 2021 breaking Comments Off on Bishop Paprocki: “The problem has not been solved, but tensions have been heightened.”

“It is a mistaken notion that those who attend [the Traditional Latin Mass] are merely nostalgic; that has not been my experience at all…” says the Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois. “Anyone who thinks that when the older generation dies off that the Latin Mass will fade away is not being realistic.”

Cardinal Raymond Burke . . . Statement on the Motu Proprio «Traditionis Custodes»

July 23, 2021 breaking Comments Off on Cardinal Raymond Burke . . . Statement on the Motu Proprio «Traditionis Custodes»

Many faithful – laity, ordained and consecrated – have expressed to me the profound distress which the Motu Proprio «Traditionis Custodes» has brought them. Those who are attached to the Usus Antiquior (More Ancient Usage) [UA], what Pope Benedict XVI called the Extraordinary Form, of the Roman Rite are deeply disheartened by the severity of the discipline which the Motu Proprio imposes and offended by the language it employs to describe them, their attitudes and their conduct. As a member of the faithful, who also has an intense bond with the UA, I fully share in their sentiments of profound sorrow. As a Bishop of the Church and as a Cardinal, in communion with the Roman Pontiff and with a particular responsibility…Continue Reading

July 19, 2021 breaking Comments Off on Catholic Bishop Denies Democrat Politician Communion Because He Supports Killing Babies in Abortions

A pro-abortion New Mexico lawmaker reportedly was denied communion over the weekend by Catholic Bishop Peter Baldacchino of Las Cruces. The Daily Caller reports New Mexico state Sen. Joe Cervantes, D-Las Cruces, said Saturday that the bishop refused to allow him to participate in the sacrament because of his “political office.” “I was denied communion last night by the Catholic bishop here in Las Cruces and based on my political office,” Cervantes wrote on Twitter. “My new parish priest has indicated he will do the same after the last was run off. Please pray for church authorities as Catholicism transitions under Pope Francis.”

July 17, 2021 breaking Comments Off on Archbishop Cordileone: Traditional Latin Mass will continue in San Francisco

San Francisco, Calif., Jul 16, 2021 / 13:03 pm As diocesan bishops consider how to implement Pope Francis’ motu proprio on the use of the Traditional Latin Mass, the Archbishop of San Franciso has said it will continue to be available in his local Church. Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco told CNA July 16 that “The Mass is a miracle in any form: Christ comes to us in the flesh under the appearance of Bread and Wine. Unity under Christ is what matters. Therefore the Traditional Latin Mass will continue to be available here in the Archdiocese of San Francisco and provided in response to the legitimate needs and desires of the faithful.” It seems that Traditional Latin Masses

Rome, 16 July 2021 Dear Brothers in the Episcopate, Just as my Predecessor Benedict XVI did with Summorum Pontificum, I wish to accompany the Motu proprio Traditionis custodes with a letter explaining the motives that prompted my decision. I turn to you with trust and parresia, in the name of that shared “solicitude for the whole Church, that contributes supremely to the good of the Universal Church” as Vatican Council II reminds us.[1]

Pro-Life Group Calls for Removing Fauci After He’s Caught Funding Aborted Baby Parts

July 15, 2021 breaking Comments Off on Pro-Life Group Calls for Removing Fauci After He’s Caught Funding Aborted Baby Parts

Students for Life Action is calling for the removal of Dr. Anthony Fauci after his agency was caught using tax dollars to fund an experiment that involved implanting aborted babies’ scalps onto rodents. The College Fix reports the pro-life organization has collected nearly 2,000 signatures on a petition and more than 20,000 on an email petition urging federal leaders to fire Fauci, President Joe Biden’s chief medical officer. “Fauci’s actual job as a high-ranking official at HHS is to protect Americans from conception — yet he is doing the exact opposite: sacrificing the most vulnerable American children to appease Corporate Abortion …” the petition states. “And taking U.S. taxpayer dollars to do it.”
