June 11, 2022 breaking Comments Off on Fr. James Martin to host LGBTQ conference with ‘transgenderqueer Two Spirit’ doctor

(LifeSiteNews) – Heretical pro-LGBTQ Father James Martin, SJ, will be hosting a June conference through his newly founded LGBTQ organization “Outreach.” Speakers will include various advocates of homosexuality and transgender lifestyles, all in open dissent of Catholic teaching on sexual morality.  “Outreach” is especially trying to convince churches to support LGBTQ “pride” month, which increasingly involves aggressive sexualization of young children and public displays of nudity and sex acts.

Oklahoma governor signs Texas-style abortion ban, vows to ‘do everything we can’ to defend life

May 26, 2022 breaking Comments Off on Oklahoma governor signs Texas-style abortion ban, vows to ‘do everything we can’ to defend life

OKLAHOMA CITY (LifeSiteNews) – Republican Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed into law Wednesday a measure the press is calling the strictest abortion ban in the nation, on top of other tough pro-life laws that could take effect if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade in the coming weeks. HB 4327 bans any procedure that “cause[s] the death of an unborn child” except in cases of rape, incest, or to save a mother’s life. Like the Texas Heartbeat Act, it would be enforced via civil suits brought by Oklahoma residents, punishable by at least $10,000 per abortion.

Archbishop Cordileone bars Nancy Pelosi from Communion until she ends abortion support

May 20, 2022 breaking Comments Off on Archbishop Cordileone bars Nancy Pelosi from Communion until she ends abortion support

Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone announced on Friday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi should not be admitted to Holy Communion in the Archdiocese of San Francisco, nor should she present herself to receive the Eucharist, until she publicly repudiates her support for abortion. Cordileone said on May 20 that the step was “purely pastoral, not political” and came after Pelosi, D-Calif., who has described herself as a “devout Catholic,” repeatedly rebuffed his efforts to reach out to her to discuss her abortion advocacy.  Cordileone said that he sent the notification to Pelosi, “a member of our archdiocese,” on May 19. The Democratic leader did not immediately respond publicly to Cordileone’s announcement after it was released to the media Friday afternoon. In a…Continue Reading

Justice Clarence Thomas Defends Draft Overturning Roe v. Wade, Tells Abortion Activists We Won’t be “Bullied”

May 7, 2022 breaking Comments Off on Justice Clarence Thomas Defends Draft Overturning Roe v. Wade, Tells Abortion Activists We Won’t be “Bullied”

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has a message for the radical abortion activists who think they can bully the Supreme Court into revising its draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade: You can’t bully us. Abortion activists plan to “raise hell” at churches across the country on Mother’s Day with protests and, some fear, violence as outrage grows in response to a leaked draft opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court that overturns Roe v. Wade. But Justice Thomas says those mislaid plans will not work in terms of bullying the high court to go back on its apparent decision. Thomas spoke at the 11th Circuit judicial conference in Atlanta where he discussed the Supreme Court’s leaked draft opinion for the first time. As…Continue Reading

Supreme Court has voted to overturn abortion rights, draft opinion shows

May 2, 2022 breaking Comments Off on Supreme Court has voted to overturn abortion rights, draft opinion shows

The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO. The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.

China expert: Dead bodies from Shanghai lockdown will far outnumber COVID casualties

April 15, 2022 breaking Comments Off on China expert: Dead bodies from Shanghai lockdown will far outnumber COVID casualties

China expert Steve Mosher warned Wednesday that the deadly toll of Shanghai’s ongoing lockdowns will be “much greater” than any potential lives lost due to COVID-19. “I don’t know how many lives they’re going to save from coronavirus in Shanghai, but I guarantee when they finally go into some of these apartments where people have been locked up for three or four weeks, they’re going to find dead bodies of people who’ve starved to death, people who have died of strokes and heart attacks,” the “Bully of Asia” author told Brian Kilmeade on “Fox & Friends.”

Jared Polis of Colorado signed a bill into law on Monday that allows babies to be killed in the womb up until the moment of birth. “No matter what the Supreme Court does in the future, people in Colorado will be able to choose when and if they have children,” Polis said at the signing ceremony in downtown Denver, referencing the possible reversal of Roe v. Wade in the coming weeks.

Emails Show Cardinal Cupich Complicit In Mayor’s Draconian Lockdown Policies for Chicago Churches

April 3, 2022 breaking Comments Off on Emails Show Cardinal Cupich Complicit In Mayor’s Draconian Lockdown Policies for Chicago Churches

In May 2020, Mayor Lori Lightfoot was drawing considerable flak over her stance against churches and other places of worship reopening for services amid the COVID-19 pandemic. But she found a behind-the-scenes ally to help her face the backlash from faith communities: Cardinal Blase Cupich, the top Catholic cleric in the Chicago region. Newly obtained emails between Cupich and Lightfoot show the cardinal advised the mayor on May 13, 2020, about how to craft a letter she would send the following day to “Members of the Chicago Faith Community.” Citing the need to curb the spread of the virus, the letter urged faith leaders to abide by government restrictions on gatherings of any kind, including those at churches, synagogues and…Continue Reading

March 25th, the Day of the Unborn Child

March 21, 2022 breaking Comments Off on March 25th, the Day of the Unborn Child

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director, Priests for Life March 25th, at the end of this week, is not only the beautiful Solemnity of the Annunciation. Because of the fact that at Mary’s Fiat Jesus became an unborn child, this day has been designated in various countries, by government and Church decree alike, as the Day of the Unborn Child. And how appropriate it is to celebrate it, as a coalition of pro-life groups in the United States, led by Priests for Life, is urging us to do. This Day of the Unborn Child is the day St. John Paul II rightly chose for the publication of his encyclical Evangelium Vitae (The Gospel of Life) in 1995. That encyclical was the…Continue Reading
