Nancy Pelosi Paints Marco Rubio as a Bad Catholic

June 2, 2015 World News Comments Off on Nancy Pelosi Paints Marco Rubio as a Bad Catholic

Cut through the niceties couching the rhetoric of Democrat House Minority Leader and any other Catholics who might not endorse gay marriage are hateful homophobes out of step with so called “mainstream” Catholics like herself. Naturally, it’s of no surprise that an MSNBC host conveniently set her up for the opportunity to denounce Rubio, as well as define Catholicism for everyone.

After Ireland, Gay Agenda Eyes Catholic Church

June 2, 2015 World News Comments Off on After Ireland, Gay Agenda Eyes Catholic Church

Evidence is coming to light of concerted and covert attempts to coax the Catholic Church into accepting homosexual relationships, principally using an upcoming church synod on the family to achieve it. A group of influential church figures, mainly from Germany and northern Europe, appear intent on making the meeting about same-sex relationships, while cloaking their agenda in vague and abstruse language. They speak of “enriching” the “biblical and theological foundations” of the synod (code for ignoring traditional church teaching), creating a “new theology of love” (an abstract concept aimed at legitimizing extramarital unions), and finding a “nonhostile” language to convey church doctrine (a watering down of Catholic teaching).

Elderly face NHS discrimination under new UN death targets

June 1, 2015 World News Comments Off on Elderly face NHS discrimination under new UN death targets

Elderly people will be treated like second-class citizens and denied medical care under new targets which give priority to saving the lives of young people. The NHS could be led to discriminate against the over 70s to meet ‘highly unethical’ UN health targets which seek to reduce premature deaths in younger people, senior medics have warned. Under the proposed Sustainable Development Goals, UN member states will be given targets to cut the number of deaths from diseases like cancer, stroke, diabetes and dementia by one third by 2030.

Ireland is worse than the pagans for legalising gay marriage, says senior cardinal

May 29, 2015 World News Comments Off on Ireland is worse than the pagans for legalising gay marriage, says senior cardinal

Ireland has gone further than paganism and “defied God” by legalising gay marriage, one of the Church’s most senior cardinals has said. Cardinal Raymond Burke, who was recently moved from a senior role in the Vatican to be patron of the Order of Malta, told the Newman Society, Oxford University’s Catholic Society, last night that he struggled to understand “any nation redefining marriage”. Visibly moved, he went on: “I mean, this is a defiance of God. It’s just incredible. Pagans may have tolerated homosexual behaviours, they never dared to say this was marriage.”

May 27, 2015 World News Comments Off on UN Official Reports on Islamic State’s “War on Women”

A United Nations official has painted a chilling picture of how the Islamic State group oversees a vast network of sexual slavery, including an elaborate pricing system, violent treatment by slave masters and casual branding of female bodies and reselling of “used goods.” ISIS is organized and coordinated and “operates on a widespread and systematic basis to commit a staggering array of atrocities,” said Zainab Bangura, UN

DUBLIN (AP) — Irish voters have resoundingly backed amending the constitution to legalize gay marriage, leaders on both sides of the Irish referendum declared Saturday after the world’s first national vote on the issue. As the official ballot counting continued, the only question appeared to be how large the “yes” margin of victory from Friday’s

May 22, 2015 World News Comments Off on Boy Scouts president: We need to allow open homosexual leaders

May 22, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Boy Scouts of America president Robert Gates says the youth organization must change with the times and allow open homosexual men to serve as Scout leaders. Gates, the former U.S. Secretary of Defense and CIA Director, said in a speech at the 2015 Boy Scouts of America (BSA) National Annual Meeting Thursday that the Boy Scouts would have to adjust to “the social, political, and juridicial changes taking place in our country — changes taking place a pace this past year no one anticipated.” According to Gates, the way to balance the religious affiliations of “some 70% of our scout units” and avoid “a broad [court] ruling

Federal Court Forces University of Notre Dame to Obey Pro-Abortion HHS Mandate

May 21, 2015 World News Comments Off on Federal Court Forces University of Notre Dame to Obey Pro-Abortion HHS Mandate

A federal appeals court has denied a request by the University of Notre Dame to get out of having to comply with the pro-abortion HHS mandate that is a part of Obamacare and requires businesses and church groups to pay for abortion-causing drugs for their employees. Notre Dame won a victory at the Supreme Court earlier this year. After a lower court dismissed the lawsuit, in March the Supreme Court ordered the lower court to reconsider its ruling that denied a Catholic university the freedom to follow its faith. But, today, a panel of a federal appeals court ruled that Notre Dame must comply with the mandate.
