“Climate Change” Forecast . . . Depleting The Peas On Your Plate And Size Of Dining Room, Too

August 30, 2023 Featured Today No Comments

By DEXTER DUGGAN

Does the current climate alarmism take up where the discredited Covid dictatorship left off?
Climate-terror theories have been around longer on the elitists’ agenda than global disease as a way to impose their stringent control over everyone else’s life, even though the alleged basis for the climatological terror kept switching, from a new ice age to “global warming” to “climate change.”
When one climate nightmare didn’t deliver, we were expected to sheepishly accept the next contradictory weather one from the same prattling, self-appointed geniuses.
Then suddenly in 2020 we were told that, instead, a deadly new pandemic required completely clamping down on the way people around the world existed. Vital services and ways of life had to be ended. Remarkable lockdowns were effected.
I recall watching alarmist news coverage from New York City in 2020 showing coffins stacked up. “Well,” I thought, having no contrary information at the time about this mysterious tragedy, “a year from now maybe 50 percent of us will all be dead.”
After a while, if really did appear that Communist China had launched biological warfare on an unsuspecting world, although after some time it became apparent that there definitely were limits to who was susceptible to death from it, including those with comorbidities like advanced age or excessive overweight.
Meanwhile, the resulting social earthquake in the U.S. helped the Democratic Party eject successful conservative Republican President Donald Trump in that year’s election, replacing him with an increasingly senile Democrat who was a puppet to a strongly Marxist-tilted agenda.
In an exercise of government power that would have made old Communist Soviet totalitarian Josef Stalin envious, Americans unconstitutionally were ordered by the fanatical Joe Biden administration to be injected with an experimental substance or else lose their very jobs, even vital workers like police, military and first responders.
As for someone who wanted simply to attend university or work in a hospital, it was a matter of submitting to the questionable jab or being thrown onto the street.
This kind of total control corresponded nicely with power-mad, unaccountable globalists’ eye-popping plans for a “Great Reset” to transform society from top to bottom. We were, in their crazed visions, to own nothing but be happy. That sounded like the worst type of Communist revolution, and one that never would work.
That’s why it was necessary to get complete control over people, so they couldn’t resist, could not say no. Maybe the corpses that had failed to pile up during the Covid terrorism could pile up now if soon-to-be enslaved masses dared object — a population controllers’ dream.
By the way, unlike the masses of humanity, the dominating masters of society no doubt still would keep a wealth of private possessions — just as they always had retained plenty of private jets so they could soar in luxury here and there around the globe to gold-plated conferences where they denounced fossil fuels, private consumption, and similar sins.
Speaking of jets, one might note that one of the lingering effects among many from the Covid terrorism was damage to the commercial-aviation industry, with shortages of well-trained airline crews and airport controllers.
CBS News on August 21 noted a story that day in The New York Times, “Airline Close Calls Happen Far More Often Than Previously Known.”
Business Insider also picked up the story, writing: “On average, there have been multiple airline close calls per week so far this year, the report says. In July, there were at least 46 near-miss incidents involving commercial airlines, according to Federal Aviation Administration safety reports reviewed by The Times.”
In one of the incidents, at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on August 7, an American Airlines plane taking off nearly collided with a departing Southwest Airlines plane on a parallel runway because the airborne American pilot turned left instead of following the controller’s command to turn right, Phoenix TV channels 3 and 5 said the report said.

Unfeasible And Unworkable

Anyway, now that the pandemic lockdowns were shown to be not merely completely unnecessary but also badly damaging, the elitists needed another tool to keep marching us toward despotism since our silly taste for liberty never corresponds with their bug-eyed visions.
Oh yes, simply time to return to their theme of looming climate disaster.
Here their strategy consists of commanding everyone else to do what’s unfeasible, unproven, or unworkable.
It would have been like telling everyone in 1950 who had 17-inch-screen black-and-white televisions that they had to buy four-foot full color flatscreens immediately. Forget allowing for time for technology and markets to make that feasible.
Actually, it’s more like telling everyone to jump off the top of the Empire State Building right now, and trust that within a few seconds a solution will be found so they don’t crash through firefighter-held nets at street level.
As Manhattan Contrarian blogger Francis Menton posted on August 16, “in the fantasy world of the climate cult, it’s only a matter of enough government decrees, subsidies, and maybe a few court orders, and the whole functioning and inexpensive fossil-fuel-based energy system will suddenly be replaced by something yet to be invented.”
Why sure, said Menton, even though “[o]ut in the real world, use of fossil fuels continues to grow, and will with 100 percent certainty continue to do so. In places like India and Africa, people are just getting their first taste of things like cars, computers, and air conditioning. They are not going to turn back” (https://www.manhattancontrarian.com/blog/2023-8-16-annals-of-crazy-climate-litigation-held-v-montana).
If some left-wing doofus decides that everyone needs very expensive electric cars right away, just get some governor or judge to start laying the groundwork for when people can be fined heavily in a few years if they haven’t complied.
Electric cars, see, don’t need fossil fuels to run. But where will all the electricity for them come from when wind and solar in no way are capable of filling the void left by shutting conventional power plants? Plants which, in addition, never had been called upon to supply the juice for millions of electric vehicles.
One sees that the elitists simply don’t care about people’s lives. Making it impossible to live in a suburban private home actually is a great idea because the “sustainable” answer is tents on the street, and maybe underpasses and caves.
Of course, that sort of demeaning life won’t be thrust upon illegal immigrants, who get taxpayer-provided accommodations in expensive hotels. But it’s certainly the reduced existence that U.S. citizens must learn to live with, having already, you know, used up their “social credits” to plunder Mother Nature with their three-bedroom homes.
On August 21 The Wall Street Journal noted that the prices of cars for buyers — ordinary ones, not electrical extravaganzas — are becoming, um, unsustainable.
The very next day, on August 22, the Journal observed that high mortgage rates — hey, thanks for that, Joe Biden — are driving Americans into smaller homes. That story was headlined, “Goodbye Bathtub and Living Room. America’s Homes Are Shrinking.”
Amazing how Biden’s dirty work coincides with globalist aims to cut the U.S. off at the knees. Cut it down to size.
In an article posted August 19 at The Federalist website, Evita Duffy-Alfonso notes one plan to ban consuming meat and dairy and having private vehicles by 2030.
A “globalist climate organization known as the ‘C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group’,” she writes, has nearly 100 cities around the world as members, including, in the U.S., “Austin, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Seattle.”
No wonder someone like Donald Trump never could be allowed to be president and stand athwart this very Biden-like dystopia. No wonder far-left Democrat Katie Hobbs had to be thrust in as governor of Arizona through Election Day chaos rather than Trump-endorsed Republican Kari Lake.
Some people already see the C40 Cities implementation beginning, Duffy-Alfonso writes, with, for instance, New York Mayor Eric Adams announcing that his city will cap the amount of meat and dairy served at city institutions like schools and prisons.
She totes up items including that the Great Reset “seeks to use the COVID-19 pandemic as a point from which to launch a global reset of society to supposedly combat climate change. This reset, however, has far more to do with social control than it does with the climate.”
And that “unrealistic zero-emissions policies are impoverishing Westerners and annihilating the middle class, which is fueling reliance on centralized government.”
Think things couldn’t sound worse? How about this in her Federalist article: A bioethicist linked to the Great Reset’s World Economic Forum, Dr. Matthew Liao, “has proposed the idea of scientists genetically modify[ing] humans to be allergic to meat. Liao has also discussed shrinking the physical size of humans via eugenics or hormone injections so they consume fewer resources.”
Consuming resources? I remember having lunch at a deli with two longtime acquaintances who never outgrew the Democratic Party. What’s one of the things they wanted to talk about while depleting the food supply? Sports scores? Family activities? I definitely remember the topic of climate change. Maybe they were reinforcing their beliefs against skeptics like me.

Show Some Spine

Although these days I guess true believers should realize that the only appropriate repast would be to fast.
You don’t think you should get injections to shrink your size, or at least the size of your offspring at maturity? Well, how many people refused the Covid jab when their jobs were at stake? Or will they have grown rebelliously hostile by the time of a new forced march toward the needles?
I’d like to think they’d show more spine than bare arm this time. However, I’m amazed day after day at all the border agents who sheepishly keep complying with Biden’s unconstitutional orders that they know are drowning the U.S. in unending waves of illegal immigration.
And all those military who keep saluting the far left’s puppet Biden and those Secret Service agents who keep daily enabling his movements for what they know is his intentional destruction of our nation.
Well, for that matter, how does Biden, soon to turn 81 years old, even face himself in the mirror when he knows that it can’t be much longer before he has to give an account for all of his deadly sins and crimes to the Almighty?
Does Biden think he’ll live to 91? Okay, 10 more years will be here before you know it. Just like Biden was Barack Obama’s vice president 10 years ago. Not long ago at all. How time flies.
On August 21 talk host Mike Slater on the Bill O’Reilly radio update said that liberals believe that we’re born good, while conservatives think we’re born sinners who must strive for virtue (the classic Judeo-Christian view).
Actually, despite differing political views, didn’t liberals used to have generally the same view as conservatives about human nature? Oh, I don’t mean left-wing revolutionaries, who I guess always viewed humans as good but corrupted by evil social systems.
But if we asked the average liberal teacher a few decades ago if he or she thought human beings are by nature born good, wouldn’t they have thought history itself taught the opposite? And that schools were to be places for virtuous instruction?
Today, however, when religion widely has been supplanted on the left by politics, we may start to understand why angry leftists are so eager to wipe out their foes, whom they see as the reason for evil corrupting all the natural goodness.
