C’mon, Cave, Man . . . Will Declining Biden Keep Forcing His Primitive Policies on U.S.?

March 14, 2021 Frontpage No Comments

By DEXTER DUGGAN

PHOENIX — Wearing tee-shirts that celebrate Joe Biden, the chief executive of the nation whose laws they’re defying by their invasion, illegal immigrants flooding into the United States will find paradox after paradox. There might as well be billboards at the border saying, “Welcome to the U.S., the country you’ll help to make more pagan.”
How could this be when many of them come from mainly Catholic countries? Because bad Catholic Biden’s anti-Catholic Democrat Party, which eagerly lures them here, is counting on their upcoming votes to be cast in ignorance.
Those votes for Democrat victories would mean maintaining and increasing their power to wage rabid culture war against traditional values.
Start with this: Remember when the strong Democrat ally the American Civil Liberties Union started suing so that newly arrived minors could have abortions in the U.S.? What? People who didn’t even come here legally should be able to abort their babies as soon as they arrive?
After three years of litigation, the ACLU boasted last September, it had won its case against the Trump administration so that the Office of Refugee Resettlement “and ORR-funded shelters cannot block or interfere with unaccompanied immigrant minors’ access to confidential reproductive health care, including abortion. . . .
“The official policy change issued by (the) federal government largely tracks with the terms of the injunction the ACLU won in court,” the September 29, 2020, press release said.
And if the ACLU had to fight Trump’s pro-life administration to get this court mandate, the fanatically pro-abortion Biden government will serve up the abortions on a silver platter. Talk about ripping children away from their parents’ wombs!
And how’s this for paradox? Many Americans have been through a full year of government-caused lockdowns that, among other aspects, cost them their paychecks, their freedom to worship and travel, and their children’s schooling. Yet hordes of illegal immigrants are rushed into the U.S. to go wherever they decide.
Moreover, the reason given for locking down U.S. residents was to fight COVID-19, framed as a terribly deadly disease. But even the migrants known to be infected with that sickness are free to move about the U.S. however they please.
When Texas and Mississippi moved to ease COVID-19 restrictions, Biden snapped in early March that “the last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking” — no caveman attitudes, please, about not wearing masks. Unless, apparently, the offenders choose to come into the U.S. through caves beneath border barriers.
This hypocrisy by liberal politicians and bureaucrats recalled their double or triple standards last summer, when they suddenly proclaimed that left-wing rioters, arsonists, and looters were perfectly free to cause chaos, and with no personal distancing, because their violent fight for so-called social justice exempted them from the rules — as if disease understood political sympathies.
Another paradox was that illegal immigrants will exert themselves mightily to go great distances against high obstacles — obstacles metaphorically and in physical reality — in order to arrive here, but failed to have applied such powerful exertions for the improvement of their native lands.
Especially because the U.S. already has generous legal immigration, the unauthorized entrants have no more right to barge in here than, say, millions of Canadians should force themselves onto Italy.
Arizona, as the U.S. state with the second-longest border with Mexico (Texas having the longest), has a special interest about the flood of unauthorized entrants. But the U.S.’s open-borders establishment cast a blind eye at the problem long before Donald Trump — a factor that helped non-politician Trump win the presidency in 2016, to the establishment’s amazement.
Quite aside from trespassing through rangeland, illegal aliens even walked right through the sensitive U.S. military installation Fort Huachuca, in southeastern Arizona.
On March 10 the Russell & Hunter conservative talk program on Phoenix-based KFYI Radio (550 AM) took note that record numbers of illegal immigrants were coming right through border ranchers’ property.
And why not? Even before Election Day, cognitively impaired Biden promised to welcome them. Although dominant media didn’t want to play up the damage he kept promising, anything that Biden vowed in order to make situations bad or worse is a promise that he kept.
In Arizona, conservative Republican political consultant Constantin Querard told The Wanderer on March 10:
“Today’s Democratic policies on illegal immigration aren’t based on any sort of policy goals or national interests. They are built entirely on reaction to Republican efforts to secure the border, and a surrender to the far left of their party that believes anyone from anywhere should be allowed into America to help themselves to our higher quality of life.
“That’s why a normal person looking at what is going on can’t make sense of it,” Querard said. “It doesn’t make sense and it won’t ever make sense. The point is to do the opposite of whatever Trump and the Republicans do, to do it with all possible haste, and to pursue policies that, when Republicans object, will allow Democrats to attack them as racists.”

Time For Trump Rallies

Northern California conservative commentator Barbara Simpson told The Wanderer on March 10: “As the border crisis gets worse — thousands of illegals crossing the border — establishment politicians of both parties remain oblivious to the ramifications.
“They are frozen in fear of being charged as ‘racists,’ forgetting that their primary job is to protect THIS country and OUR LEGAL citizens,” Simpson said. “These turncoat politicians deserve to be gotten out of office — and soon.”
In an opinion column posted March 8 at the New York Post, writer John Daniel Davidson said: “Without any real debate — without congressional hearings, new legislation, or anything more than a series of executive orders — President Biden has effectively put in place a complete open-border policy on the Southwest border. All he had to do was signal, with the stroke of a pen, that if you can get into the U.S., you can probably stay.”
Meanwhile, conservative activist and national radio host Charlie Kirk suggested on March 8 this would be a good time for Trump to hit the road for rallies that could exert pressure on Biden.
One example, Kirk said, would be for Trump to go to West Virginia and invite that state’s Democrat U.S. senator, Joe Manchin, to show up, where Trump could issue a challenge for Manchin to hold the line against Biden.
With the Senate split 50-50, any single senator can make an outsize difference, although the Catholic Manchin — like Biden himself — can be more of a Democrat than a Catholic, such as when Manchin joined to vote for the huge “COVID relief” bill that was crammed with raw political spending for Democratic priorities like Planned Parenthood.
It’s said that if Democratic President John F. Kennedy, narrowly elected in 1960, were alive today, he’d be a Republican. Aside from the obvious fact that today’s Democrat base would regard JFK as hopelessly right-wing, there’s another big difference with Biden.
Kennedy took pains to assure non-Catholics, who’d never had a Catholic in the White House before, that he was running to be an American president, not a special Catholic one. Biden, on the other hand, although he’s building a strongly anti-Catholic government, has a fixation with flaunting Catholic symbolism — sort of like a man who hoards grenades for a hobby while avowing his pacifism.
During a virtual meeting on March 1 with the president of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, Biden talked about his rosary early in this political encounter — in the third paragraph of his comments, according to the White House transcript.
Biden might as well have a rosary stitched to his forehead while directly promoting massive tax-paid abortion at home and abroad, serious sexual disorientation, suppression of religious freedom and conscience, just about anything that Our Lady of Guadalupe would reject, even though he dragged her into his chat with the Mexican president, too.
Some U.S. Catholic prelates, although hardly enough of them, have publicly rebuked Biden’s glaring hypocrisy.
The bishop of Knoxville, Richard Stika, directly replied quickly, tweeting that “Mr. Biden promotes unrestricted abortion and what does he do today? Biden mentions Our Lady of Guadalupe, shows rosary in meeting with Mexican president.”
Stika also noted that one of the titles of the Virgin of Guadalupe is Our Lady of Life and said, “He likes to brag on his Catholic background when convenient. So very dishonest!”
While Biden dares to claim that Catholicism undergirds his politics, he throws preborn babies to the wolves with the baseless excuse that protecting them would impose his Catholicism on others — even though defending their lives is purely appropriate as scientific, secular policy, without reference to religion.
This isn’t like mandating that all Americans must recite his talisman of the rosary. Societies, for instance, can say unjust killing is wrong without specifying which of the Judeo-Christian Ten Commandments that is.
Furthermore, although Biden says he won’t impose “Catholicism” on others in this instance, he’s eager to force all sorts of left-wing outrages and offenses on everyone else, no matter how much they object. Beginning with inflicting abortionists and open borders on them.
Biden isn’t talking rational thinking here, but just whatever discombobulated babbling bubbles up through his mental haze.
By the way, regarding John F. Kennedy’s narrow 1960 presidential victory over Republican Richard Nixon, Kennedy just squeaked past with less than one-quarter of one percent of a total vote between them of more than 68 million.
Moreover, the electoral map of that day shows sharp reversals from preferences now, with, for instance, California, Oregon, and Virginia in the Republican column, while Texas and West Virginia went for Democrat Kennedy.
As with everything he does, the radicalized Biden rips apart anything he can as fast as he can, apparently in the service of Marxism-loving puppet masters who never want this country to be free again.
On his March 4 national talk-radio program, conservative commentator Mark Levin noted that Democrats hold just a narrow majority in the U.S. House, while there’s only a 50-50 split in the Senate, but they’re ramming through a radical program as if they had a huge lead — without apology.
Nor, one might add, does dominant leftist media suggest this is dangerous overreach.
Maybe that’s one reason Dems also are desperate to make drastic changes in election law all across the nation, so that every election henceforth will replicate the chaos that allowed Biden to slip into the White House.
If it were Republicans who controlled the executive and legislative branches, even if by large majorities, the GOP constantly would be told to go very slow, to not offend independents, to take no action until they were sure they had the nation behind them.
Go slow? Not everyone. The Democrats are speed demons. Or, in the eyes of many, just demons.
The radical Dems up on a Hill rule from behind razor wire and military troops as if they got where they are by enforcing an, ahem, insurrection.

Silly Temptations

Although Biden seems to shelter in place at the White House as much as he can, he made a few trips to his suburban Wilmington, Del., home recently, which roused some ire.
A Wanderer reader in Wilmington told us on March 6 that drivers are getting tired of the airport motorcades when Biden makes the short flight from D.C.
“Traffic is backed up all over northern Delaware,” said the reader, who asked not to be named. “I hear a lot of complaints about those traffic tie-ups on the local radio talk show. And there was a letter to the editor in the News Journal yesterday pointing out that four major highways — including Interstate 95 — were closed last week when Biden decided to visit his home state.
“The writer, a woman, worries about what would happen if there were a medical emergency. No one could possibly navigate the traffic to a hospital,” the reader said, adding that he gets the feeling most Delawareans wish Biden would stay in Washington.
Anyway, regardless of where people come or go now, they’ll all end up — as “Catholic Joe” must know — in Heaven or Hell. Joe would be doing his eternal life a real favor if he were to take seriously the preparations for the upcoming Mercy Sunday, on April 11, when all his damnable behavior can be wiped away in the eyes of God.
Problem is, Joe’s got to repent of that behavior, just swear off it.
A person might think such a self-interested decision would be easy. But there are powerful temptations to make the merely temporal seem more important. Silly temptations, of course, especially for a declining man who’s already 78.
