Left-Wing’s Furious Assault . . . Shows Extent Of Concocted Try To Destroy Trump’s People’s Champion

August 6, 2023 Frontpage No Comments

By DEXTER DUGGAN

Perhaps one of Donald Trump’s largest accomplishments in opposing — and exposing — the vast swamp of political corruption was simply showing up for the fight.
There he was by himself on the battlefield. No foes in sight. Suddenly they appeared by the thousands, jumping up from behind every rock, from every hill on the horizon, from every gulley and ravine, and of course innumerable enemies slithering from the swamp, every python and alligator and shark from the ocean and other insane, babbling beasts.
You were to think that Trump was the greatest criminal in U.S. political history, or maybe any kind of North American history, or even world history.
If convicted on all counts, it was said, he’d spend more than 550 years in prison. Conservative commentator Mark Levin said on Sean Hannity’s August 2 television show that there were 100 charges against Trump.
Even people who’d looked askance at Trump should have been feeling some sympathy for him now. While those who hated him apparently just hated him some more, without reason or meritorious evidence.
Biden, his Democratic Party, and their media and establishment allies relentlessly have been driving this nation toward unavoidable crisis. How much more will they inflame the scene before they awake to regret their evildoing?
The Democratic Party and Injustice Department’s Special Counsel Jack Smith had just laid the latest outburst against Trump, a four-count indictment on August 1.
If it hadn’t before, the description of the persecution of Trump as banana-republic politics hit with full force now. On August 2 Fox News’ Jesse Watters did his commentary with a graphic behind him of an enthroned Emperor Joe Biden with a huge crown and the thought of getting Trump on his mind.
Like any tinpot despot, the corrupt, feeble bad Catholic Biden was determined to remove his rival Trump from the scene.
On August 2 Breitbart News posted an observation by conservative commentator Mollie Hemingway citing a 2022 New York Times report that “Biden was frustrated his AG Merrick Garland hadn’t prosecuted his chief political rival Donald Trump yet for J6 and believed it had to happen.”
John Daniel Davidson, a senior editor at The Federalist website, posted on August 2: “Simply put, this indictment is nothing more than a declaration of war against American voters and their constitutional right to free speech. As Jonathan Turley noted on Twitter, ‘If you take a red pen to all of the material presumptively protected by the First Amendment, you can reduce much of the indictment to haiku’.”
Davidson concluded that Democrats “just want to put him in prison. They think Trump’s a criminal for opposing them, and they think the same thing about his supporters. The left wants to criminalize dissent. They don’t really think you should get a vote, much less an opinion. That’s what this indictment is about. If you think this is bad, just wait.”
Breitbart News reported on August 2: “Trump was indicted on four counts, which includes conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.”
All the corruption of every liberal Democrat like Hillary and Bill Clinton had never mattered. They weren’t hounded incessantly by an establishment that had plotted and connived against Trump ever since his presidential hopes were announced. Why did they hate Trump as no one before?
National conservative radio host Buck Sexton on August 2 said that Jack Smith’s indictment “just reads like a Rachel Maddow monologue,” a reference to the outlandish left-wing pundit who spent years echoing the phony Russia collusion deception against Trump.
Sexton added, “They are criminalizing trying to use the legal process,” which is what people are supposed to be able to avail themselves of.
Phoenix radio talk host Seth Leibsohn (KKNT, 960 AM) said on August 1 that Smith’s indictment is so unique, it can’t be taken seriously.
Whatever someone else believes about whether Trump actually lost the 2020 presidential election, Leibsohn said, it’s obvious from listening to Trump that he sincerely believes the election was unfair. Is his sincere belief an offense to be prosecuted?
Then think of all the Democrats who could be prosecuted, including Hillary Clinton, Stacey Abrams, and John Kerry. Former President Jimmy Carter seconded the fantasies, claiming that Trump didn’t win the 2016 election that put him in the White House.
Leibsohn added on August 2 that the left-wing establishment’s offenses versus Trump’s offenses are like comparing a towering inferno to a cigarette burn. The talk host recalled the widespread left-wing riots in January 2017 against Trump’s inauguration and the left’s manipulation of violence with the Black Lives Matter movement.
There also was the widespread suppression by the left-wing establishment against the factual news of the Hunter Biden laptop’s revelation of scandal shortly before the 2020 election, Leibsohn recalled.
That scandal seriously threatened the election of the Democrats’ anointed Joe Biden, so that news was nearly as thoroughly suppressed as if in an actual dictatorship, both by censoring the news itself and bringing forth establishment mouthpieces who lyingly dismissed it as Russian disinformation.
Leibsohn’s review showed a national political left that rules by violence and deceit.
If supposedly not wanting the results of an election to go forward must be brought before an anti-Trump judge, as U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan is, where are the left-wing ringleaders facing Trump-appointed judges?
A January 21, 2017, CNN story recalls the furious opposition played out in Washington, D.C., against Trump entering the White House: “Bursts of chaos erupted on 12th and K streets as black-clad ‘antifascist’ protesters smashed storefronts and bus stops, hammered out the windows of a limousine and eventually launched rocks at a phalanx of police lined up in an eastbound crosswalk. . . .
“Anti-Trump protests also broke out . . . in U.S. cities, including New York, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, and Portland, Oregon,” the CNN story continued. “Authorities in Seattle say one person was in critical condition at a hospital with a gunshot wound. Demonstrations also took place overseas in Hong Kong, Berlin, and London.”
What kind of thinking caused such chaos? The same CNN story sympathetically inquired and brought forth this comment from a 20-year-old student in a Black Lives Matter blockade of an entrance onto the National Mall:
“I think Donald Trump is a fascist, and it’s very easy for people, especially people who are in pain, to slip into fascism. It’s easy for people to feel like the individual has no power and that you’re just one small little ant in the big hill, so ultimately all that matters is popular resistance.”
Ah yes, CNN reveals: There are bad fascists like Trump, and then good fascists in pain like the rioters in 2017 opposing his inauguration.
The Trump campaign emailed out a grouping of quotations by Republican officials reacting to Smith’s fabrication. Texas Cong. Ronny Jackson used some capital letters: “I STAND WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP. Three indictments in 5 months — each time when there were new damaging revelations about the CORRUPT Biden family. Americans have ZERO trust in the HYPOCRITICAL ‘justice’ system!”
Florida Cong. Byron Donalds mostly put his in all-capital letters, which said in part:
“THIS SELECTIVE USE OF THE FULL BREADTH OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO ATTACK TRUMP WHILE CONCOCTING SWEETHEART DEALS FOR HUNTER, HILLARY, AND THE REST OF THE DEMOCRAT DARLINGS IS SOMETHING YOU EXPECT IN A THIRD-WORLD COUNTRY, NOT THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. MY SUPPORT OF PRESIDENT TRUMP GROWS WITH EVERY EGREGIOUS ATTEMPT BY BIDEN’S DOJ TO INTERFERE WITH THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.”
Even former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev had a take on the Democrats’ manipulations, tweeting on August 2: “Before, unwanted presidential candidates in the U.S. would simply get killed. Now, criminal cases are initiated against them, and they get indicted. Well, progress is evident.”
The Catholic Crisis Magazine published a pro-Trump article on August 1 titled “Time to hop on the Trump train,” by Auguste Meyrat, who called on anti-Trump financial donors to change their preferences.
Meyrat wrote: “Instead of using their resources for the good of the party, they will continually support dull, artificial candidates with little hope of winning as well as consistently undermine and discredit the very people who make the GOP popular.
“This is certainly the case with former president Donald Trump,” Meyrat said, “but also with Trump-aligned candidates like Kari Lake, Tudor Dixon, Kelly Tshibaka, and populist conservative media personalities like Tucker Carlson.”
Speaking of Lake, the 2022 Arizona GOP gubernatorial nominee called on other GOP presidential candidates to unite behind him now. In an August 1 statement she said: “This is the most egregious case of election interference in the history of our country. This a battle that a unified Republican party MUST fight. Otherwise, we will lose this country forever.”
She added: “That is why I am calling on all Republican candidates for president to immediately suspend their campaigns, stop wasting hard-earned donor money and rally around our nominee, President Donald J. Trump.”
It indeed was ironic that a proudly pro-America public figure like Trump was being persecuted, allegedly for disloyalty to American ideals. His presidential achievements managed to improve the nation despite constant attack and deception from the left-wing establishment.
On the other hand, bad Catholic Joe Biden and his far-left administration consciously labor day after day to destroy the U.S. and leave it as a heap of conquered rubble.
With the homeless shelters in major metropolitan areas like New York City already full of the illegal immigrants that Biden has crowded in there to overwhelm U.S. citizens, the outdoors encampments of other unauthorized entrants are being called “Bidenvilles.”
Indeed, while Biden relaxes on the beach in luxury for yet another of his innumerable vacations, he intentionally is trying to reduce the U.S. to one huge suffering Bidenville.
From trying to impose continuous monstrous baby slaughter and sexual depravity to depriving and replacing U.S. citizens with countless millions of lawbreaking border jumpers, Biden’s record should be categorized as that of a traitor to national well-being.
On a personal scale, it would be as if Biden had been given 40 mansions to live in (instead of the three he actually has, including the White House) and he intentionally burned them all down. What kind of gratitude and responsibility would that show?
No wonder that Biden and his gang of thugs fear a resolute figure like Trump. But pathetic Biden’s day is coming to a close. He still has the choice, like evil Scrooge in the novel A Christmas Carol, to change his ways. Will he?
Scrooge changed when he was left alone to confront his conscience. Biden’s extra burden is that he’s surrounded by manipulators and sycophants who tell him to stay the same and unrepentant. Apparently, unfortunately, including some Catholic churchmen.
Karoline Leavitt, spokeswoman for Make America Great Again, Inc., said in an August 1 statement: “Jack Smith is the enforcer for the Biden Crime Family. The Bidens have made millions selling access to the Chinese Communist Party, Ukraine, and other foreign nations. Joe Biden has weaponized the Department of Justice to act as a shield to cover up his crimes, and a sword to target his leading political opponent with lies.
“The good news is — President Trump is undeterred and his unprecedented America First movement will carry him back to the White House, where he will dismantle the Deep State and bring the Biden Crime Family to justice,” Leavitt said.
