Polish Catholics Take The Lead Against Sex Ed

October 25, 2019 Frontpage No Comments

By REY FLORES

This past week saw yet another strong statement by Catholic Poles in what seems to be the most exemplary Catholic country in the world today. According to a report by Agence France-Presse (AFP), about one thousand people gathered in Warsaw to protest a bill which would prosecute any person who helps “promote or approve underage sexual activity.” Planned Parenthood and the National Education Association in the United States could sure use a thrashing like this.
It’s about time for Catholics to start being genuine Catholics and to stand up for the absolute truth, instead of the cowardly kowtowing many of our high-ranking clergy do for the secular globalists. How dare we question why little Johnny and Susie are being taught about abominations like “transgenderism” and how to use a sex toy? But who am I to judge?
The Law and Justice Party (PiS) was victorious in the country’s recent elections, and it is supporting a “Stop Pedophilia” law in the lower house of the Polish parliament. The aim is to restrict what kind of pornographic garbage is being spoon-fed to children in public schools. Meanwhile, the sorry proponents of things like abortion, homosexuality, and other depravities are crying out that the bill threatens and aims to ban sex education in schools. And what’s wrong with that?
Magdalena Agnieszka Biejat, a member of the radical “left-wing united” faction in the Polish government, is of course upset about this. As reported by the AFP, Biejat made this ridiculous and nonsensical statement at the recent Warsaw protest: “I have children who don’t yet go to school. I would like to be able to talk to them one day about sex. This poorly written bill prevents me from doing so. It violates the Constitution.”
What kind of mindless person says a thing like this?
As a parent, it’s our job to teach our kids about abstinence, chastity, and purity. The “talk” which so many parents dread having with their kids is a myth. There’s no one way to teach our kids about sex if we start early and help form them in the Catholic teachings on true love and marriage, procreation, and why human sexuality exists.
There’s no need for graphic or specific talk about the physical aspects related to sex. It’s really simple. God created marriage for procreation and the continued existence of humanity as God designed it. Marriage and family, that’s it.
Sure, we can share a little more information as the kids get a little older in their preteen and teen years, but that’s at the parents’ discretion and not up to the institutionalized busybody government.
How does this bill, which proposes to limit the kind of pornographic brainwashing that goes on in schools today, in any way stop Biejat or anybody else from talking to their own kids, at the appropriate age and time, about sex?
Biejat continued to warble on at the protest, complaining that this bill “creates an environment in which children won’t know how to say ‘no’ nor will they know when to say ‘yes.’ One where they won’t be able to talk to teachers or doctors….We will form potential pedophile victims.”
How does this make any sense? The sex education classes we’ve seen in Western culture, mostly deviant sexual propaganda propagated by the likes of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), are what has created a hyper-sexualized culture.
Biejat is wrong on every level. If anything, promoting these pornographic sex education classes effectively encourages more promiscuity and perversion. Telling kids that habitual sins like masturbation and abnormalities like same-sex activity are “perfectly normal” is what encourages a wanton culture.
Today’s sex education classes do nothing other than pervert and distort what God created to be a beautiful thing within and only within the Sacrament of Matrimony between a husband and wife. Any other premeditated and deliberately voluntary sexual activity is an unacceptable degeneracy which only robs a person of his dignity and eternal soul.
This bill, if made into law, would sentence any person corrupting a minor with these so-called sex education classes for up to three years in prison. The governing party wants to increase the sentence to five years. I applaud this, but if it were up to me, I’d be tempted to lock them up and throw away the key.
As the AFP also reported, “The PiS, which is close to the country’s powerful Catholic Church, notably campaigned on its opposition to the ‘sexualization of children’ before winning Sunday’s general election.”
One feminist protester told the AFP: “I’m here to say that good sex is a good thing, and that education is needed for it to be good.” Good sex? What does that mean? Does she mean it as a consensual act between a husband and wife? I don’t think so. In the eyes of these pro-abortion modern-day feminists, “good” sex would be relative to whatever perverted whim may cross anybody’s sinful imaginations.
The AFP report ended with a quotation from someone described as a feminist and academic: “I regret our Catholic culture which consists of instilling fear in people by presenting sex as a danger.”
Wrong again! The Church doesn’t “instill fear,” but rather she guides and teaches us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and should be treated as such. Instead, these sexual propagandists want us to treat our own bodies and the bodies of others as if they were cheap carnival rides.
I again applaud and cheer for the Catholic Poles who are leading the way in these battles against the cultures of death and sin. I am so sick and tired of a culture which continually attempts to rob us of our human dignity and worth.
Adultery, abortion, infidelity, and other abominations are under the watchful eye of God. Let us fear indeed our own decisions that can separate us from God for all eternity.
Remain faithful, remain pure, and remain within the Ten Commandments, especially the ones that command us against the sins of adultery and covetousness. Also remain vigilant against those whom Satan sends our way to tempt us to turn away from God.

Now more than ever, vehicles like The Wanderer are needed for clarification and guidance on the issues of the day.

Catholic, conservative, orthodox, and loyal to the Magisterium have been this journal’s hallmarks for five generations. God willing, our message will continue well into this century and beyond.
