The End Of Roe v. Wade?
The Golden Calf…Takes A Mighty Blow
If the recently revealed opinion from Justice Alito becomes law, it most certainly will be the biggest fracture to the golden calf of the left since the demonic decision of the Supreme Court on that infamous day in January of 1973. One need look no further than the Kavanaugh hearings to conclude the left will consider this all-out war and will stop at NOTHING to defend their most precious and unassailable core belief” That is — their right to murder babies.
Chief Justice Roberts would be wise to expedite a decision on this case, as any delay could result in a less than favorable outcome, due to the inevitable forthcoming pressures on the justices and legislators that will be coming their way from the unhinged left.
This opinion, should it be passed, brings great hope to those millions of pro-lifers who have served much of their life in the noble defense of the unborn. It is a shame the many who have since passed from this life who were so dedicated to this cause did not live to see this day when at least on a federal level abortion would not be the law of the land. If this does come to pass, let us not forget the courageous actions of President Trump whose late conversion to the culture of life was instrumental in the appointment of two pro-life justices who will be key to the final decision on this matter.
Although this will not stop the scourge of abortion in our country, it is definitely a huge step in the right direction. We must continue to move forward with even greater zeal and resolve to fight and protect those millions of innocent voiceless, defenseless human beings who face extinction with nobody to come to their defense. As this issue will hopefully move to the states, the pro-life community will continue to be the only thing standing between the unborn and their executioners. Today God has given us a ray of hope in the battle for the culture of life.

Legalized Abortion: An Unmitigated Failure
For those of us who have been around since the early days of the pro-life movement and the handing down of Roe v. Wade, one thing that sticks in our memories is the pro-aborts’ claim that abortion would prevent child abuse.
If all children are wanted children, the reasoning went, there would be no abuse of children.
Really?
The day that the news about the draft decision on Roe v. Wade broke, I came across the following stories online at MSN.com:
From NBC News, two boys were on life support after their mother allegedly shot them.
“Two Pennsylvania boys were on life support Monday [May 2] after their mother shot them in the head while they were in bed at home in a wealthy Philadelphia suburb, authorities said Monday. The boys, ages 9 and 13, will remain hospitalized until their organs can be donated, a spokesman for the Bucks County district attorney said Monday night. . . .
“County District Attorney Matt Weintraub said at a news conference Monday once the boys’ organs are transplanted, ‘we will upgrade these charges to two counts of homicide’.”
And People.com reported: Parents allegedly killed California boy, age one, and then showed up at a family function while leaving his body in the car.
Perhaps the pro-lifers who carry signs that say “Abortion Is Child Abuse” were much closer to the truth than the abortion advocates.
I remember hearing one pro-life activist say that pro-aborts particularly hated that slogan.
Truth hurts.
Legalized abortion hasn’t delivered on its promises and it is time it ended.
We are further away than ever from the Culture of Life envisioned by Pope John Paul II in Evangelium Vitae, which was promulgated in 1995.
As the sainted Holy Father said in that encyclical:
“To claim the right to abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia, and to recognize that right in law, means to attribute to human freedom a perverse and evil significance: that of an absolute power over others and against others. This is the death of true freedom: ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, every one who commits sin is a slave to sin’ (John 8:34)” (n. 20).
